Hi! It's been years since I've done any actually role-playing. I've been dying to get back into it though. I've read over any general rules and what not so I'm not stepping on any toes or offending anyone. I've just joined Mateus. I guess my only question is "Is there a time and place for RP or is it "okay" to just go about my business IC?"

Welcome to the RPC and roleplaying!

 

As far as most people are concerned you can RP whenever you want and wherever you want, but you might have some success with a couple of the roleplaying groups on Mateus. That way you can find like-minded people who can offer different avenues of roleplay as well as opportunity to do gameplay activities with. If I'm not mistaken it looks like they have a group here that you can join.
