  100% cool with it as long as it's agreed upon beforehand or serves the further personal stories and conflicts. It makes your character feel "lived" and can add some cool aspects to your RP.

  As long as it develops naturally and both parties are cool with it, go for it. Having a variety of different relationships can seriously add some cool factors to telling your character's story.
   
  
• Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):

  Definitely try and stick within lore for things. It makes it easier to work with people collaboratively if there is already a set of "rules" that everyone needs to follow.
