Maril Posted February 22, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2018 Welcome to the Events section. This section is for Roleplay Events of all sorts, on all servers. In order to help everyone find what they're looking for, we have some established guidelines for advertising your events in this section. 1. All events posted in here are public events unless stated otherwise. 2. Title formatting: Server as your prefix, Name of the event, Date, Time, Timezone, and where applicable - event type (For example, Fate-14). - On occasion, moderators may step in to help you with title formatting. 3. Tag your topic: Is it recurring? What is the theme? Short tags will quickly help the reader to find an event that tickles their fancy. - On occasion, moderators may help apply tags that are useful in this regard. 4. Make sure your topic has all the relevant information for your event; - Location, server and instance where applicable. - Time, date and timezone. This site is used by people all over the world, so writing that something is "Tomorrow" may be misunderstood. - Name of host or hosting FC You can use posters and other imagery to your advantage, but it is not a requirement. This section of the forum is subjected to regular clean-ups. Approximately once a week, a moderator will sweep by and move any events that have already transpired to the Chronicled Events section. Please note that the topics can still be posted in, so feel free to continue to give an event feed-back or post-event write-ups. Recurring events must be bumped at least once every two months. This ensures that the section remains easy to browse for current events. Remember that you can list your event in one of our calendars! 1. Click "Create event" on the calendar page. 2. Select "RPC Community Calendar" 3. Add the relevant details. 4. If you would like people to RSVP to your event, you can turn this function on. 5. Click Submit. Please note that if your event is already listed in one of the imported calendar feeds, such as the Balmung RP or Mateus RP calendar, you do not have to create an additional listing within the RPC community calendar unless you would like to specifically take advantage of some of the features, such as the RSVP function. Happy posting! Link to comment
