Well hello there

Hello hello!

 

My name is Zephis and I am almost completely brand new to FF14. I have about 8 years of RP and MMO experience (SWTOR, WoW, BDO), but have only just jumped in to FF14. The biggest reason I decided to give this game a try was because of all the positive things people say about it and the healthy communities it has (PvE, PvP, RP, etc). 

 

So right now I'm just trying to get to know the lore and world enough to where I'm comfortable in RPing a character, as well as learning the actual game systems and mechanics. (any help is welcome  ). I'm currently leveling my character, a miqo'te named Zephis Venn on the Mateus server and am a lvl 31 Bard, though my plan is to main Astrologian. 

 

I plan on focusing a lot on rp, but I would also like to try out PvE as well (raids and such). I never really got into raids or dungeons in the other MMOs I've played due to lack of knowledge about them, gearing, and most of the people I was with didn't run them as much. But I would really like to give them a try here since they seem like a lot of fun!

 

So yeah I'm happy to be here! And I hope that I get to meet you all in game very soon

Welcome!  I'm not on Mateus, but I know there is a thriving community there.  Hopefully someone will roll in with the Mateus Discord information soon.
