I'm going to be new to FFXIV (I'm in the phase 3 beta test!), and love role playing.  I am really excited to be here, and I hope that despite this server being a legacy server (and me being a noob and all), I'll fit in.

Pfft. I am legacy and I am starting over and know a few people who are also doing the same thing. You will do absolutely fine. Plus a decent chunk of people left be fore hitting cap and with the new classes released you won't need to worry about anything . Not to mention the great server community that will be sure to help you out.
