Fresh Recruit for the Coalition

Heya folks! Name's Tom, and I had the itch for some Eorzean RP shenanigans Tried muckin' about on my own for a bit, but apparently happening upon randoms hungry for some IC interaction is not the thing I thought it was in XIV. So, here I am to make connections like a sane and decent person.

 

MMORPG background: I've not played many MMOs. Smatterings of WoW and Guild Wars 2, bits of Runescape and Adventure Quest Worlds (if those even count). The ones that really had my time were Maplestory, Mabinogi, and now XIV. Though I'm only playing XIV right now because honestly I can only juggle one MMO at a time.

RP experience: I've been RPing at varying skill levels for a good few years now. Roughly ten to twelve years to put some kind of timestamp on it.

Character ideas/info: The character I joined the Coalition for is Elise Cartwright, a Midlander Hyur who is (as of writing this) a Gladiator. She's relatively fresh off the cart to Ul'dah, and ready for all sorts of adventure. Of course she can't do the whole saving the realm thing without a good buddy or twenty.

How did you learn about the coalition?: Web searches and Reddit.

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy): I try to match as best I can, but I tend to gravitate towards Light and Medium.

Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc.): I work full-time and I have some tabletop obligations certain days, so my schedule is a bit limited.
