The Free Company was founded on the belief that it can be an inspiring place for roleplayers who want to experience Eastern roleplay in the form of a corporate / business / clandestine setting. We offer different departments designed to provide you with an outlet for creative writing. Azuma East-West Banking Is your character diplomatic or a money lender? Maybe they enjoy being a tradesman or looking to expand their business. Perhaps they need someone to invest in their company! Are they the savvy type that wishes to help expand alliances/contacts with other FCs/characters? The banking department is also looking for the heavy muscle to secure transactions and protect shipments. Character types that would fit: Investors, Rich, Business owners, Diplomats, Nobles, Security, Armed guards, Ship Captain, Strongarms Moral Alignment: All Keikaku Communications Is your character an accomplished journalist? A go-getting reporter? News Editor? Photographer? Or maybe....they like to be stealthy, using a set of deadly skills combining information and discretion to accomplish their goals? Then our Media and Communication business is looking for just those sort of individuals. Character types that would fit: Journalist, Author, Reporter, Newspaper, Photographer, Information Broker, Spy, Secret Agent Moral Alignment: All Yamato-Torishima Steelworks Is your character an artist or crafts-person? Perhaps they are the intellectual type, a tinkerer, or researcher? Maybe they possess a set of skills that can help with safeguarding the products Yamato sells? The Metalworks covers a variety of trades, skills and craftsmen showcasing their products. Character types that would fit: Tradesman, Crafter, Artist, Security, Armed guards, Salesman, Reseacher, Tinkerer, Creative Thinker, Chef, Baker, Inventor Moral Alignment: All Kanzen-Kai Finally, the mysterious and grey-area of the FC, the Kanzen-Kai. For when diplomacy fails, other means need to be taken. The Family is more secretive than others that call their domain in the underworld. Their members and operatives work above the law, using subterfuge and other ways to bend the situation to their own. From clandestine Assassination operations to scheming against the target, these characters will do whatever it takes to ensure their success. The Yakuza portion of the company is not well known to the public, unlike their legal counterparts. You have to be a member of the company first before you are able to join the Kai. Character types; Spy, Assassin, Thief, Mercenary, Operative, Security, Thug, Gang Member, Pirate Moral Alignment: Neutral - Chaotic Evil More about the FC. We are a small group looking for more to join our RP FC in a welcoming atmosphere. Drama is not tolerated and we are not afraid to ask someone to leave if they become a dramallama.
