WoW Refugee looking to make friends

Howdy! MY name is *****, but you can call me Nerd or Latilda. I just randomly discovered this forum and I am eager to join

 

MMORPG background: Been playing since 2011, but have RPed in them since 2014.

RP experience: YEARS. I DM extensively in Tabletops, wrote characters and ran guilds in WoW and enjoy a lot of Discord RP

Character ideas/info: This is something I'm still figuring out. I recently adapted my old main, Latilda Rommel ,into an FFXIV-compatible version and hope to do stuff with her https://latildarommel.carrd.co/. I'm mostly adapting my professor mage and my Aasimar Paladin so far, but I hope to do more and make something specifically unique to FFXIV in time.

How did you learn about the coalition? Random link from an FC Carrd page.

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy) ALL OF IT. Hit me with all the RPs.

Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc.) I write for a living; specifically in journalism. I love to play games. I also write for fun and work out. I am an avid player of things like Apex Legends and Hearthstone alongside MMOs like this. I work from home, so I am usually expedient in responses. I prefer Discord for any and all encounters, but please let me know how we can make a fun story! You might know me from Wyrmrest Accord and running the Royal Courier. I do have a tumblr but you can find that if we meet. Otherwise, Happy to provide Discord info or etc if you want it.

I am also a WoW refugee (Wyrmrest/Moonguard) looking to learn about the world Eorzea and make some friends along the way! 
 

Really sad to see that there isn’t an equivalent of the TRP add on so I can know in-game who is interested in RP. You’ve inspired me to make a caard for my character.  :)

Welcome! Players will generally mention if they're role-players in their search info that you can view when you inspect them in game.

I have gone to using carrd in the player search, as an example i will show you my player search as an example


It has the viable type of RPs I'm ok with WU= Walk Ups/ T = Tell/ All means anything ofc

my carrd (which is basically like a TRP3 profile outside of the game.
