Khaze'to Zhwan Posted July 8, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 8, 2013 Hey guys, hope everyone is well. Once again I was trawling the beta forums for any gems and I came across this thread Here about Oil Painting. I really liked the effects so I thought I would share it with you. Simple Tutorial is as follows; 1. Open your screenshot through PS CS6 2. Go to Image > Adjustments > Vibrance 3. Change The Vibrance to 100 4. Go to Filter > Oil Paint 5. Change Shine to 0 6. All Done! Here are some that I mess around with. Anyway I hope you like them. Would be nice to see your screenies. Link to comment
Adelpha Posted July 8, 2013 Share #2 Posted July 8, 2013 I saw that thread on the beta forums and was really impressed by it. I'd love to join in on this, but I don't have any access to PS CS6 (though maybe I could poke around and see if a similar effect can be created through GIMP). Oh well! And no, I don't consider pirating to be "access" Link to comment
rynshun Posted July 8, 2013 Share #3 Posted July 8, 2013 These are pretty cool. I like the first one the most. You should post a link underneath to the original to show the compairson! Link to comment

Yeah some of them don't turn out as well as others, there are some other options that can be played around with as well. I'll dig up the originals and post them in a bit.
