Lore Questions

This game has captivated me and I just preordered!  Can anyone link me good lore guides and race guides?  I have been looking but apparently I am blind!  Thank you ever so much!

The wiki might have some answers for you, and can be found in the button between "Forum" and Linkshells" above. The community player base themselves are in the process of discussing various topics of lore and race all the times on the forums, filling in and fleshing out where the official narrative is thin or non-existent, or defining what the lore might mean to them in a particular case.

 

Off-site, I'll link for you the Final Fantasy Wikia, as well as the Gamerescape FFXIV site.

Have you checked this page yet?  Square-Enix's official lore page that includes racial naming conventions, languages, history, etc.  Really great place to start.
