Linkshell limits question

So I've noticed that the linkshells can only hold a certan number of members can this be overcome somehow?

If it were me, as a temporary solution at least Id create an additional linkshell for the 1? say u have "Friends of Balmung" as a linkshell, u could create "Friends of Balmung 2" or "More Friends of Balmung" of course its a bit of a pain depending on the # of players you end up with in the linkshell and all that. Its just a random thought though.

What's the current max?

I thought 128 players per linkshell and 8 linkshells total were the limits currently.

 

For me personally at least its plenty sufficient. But i know some folks may fill up fast lol.
