New to RP but not Gaming

Hello I'm an experienced gamer but It'll be my first time role play with a character I have created in a game. 

 

I understand the concept of RP but I kind of just let my character development happen and have never really put a back story to a character so i might need help getting into it. 

 

But that's why I'm here. TO RP.
