Monadi Posted August 16, 2010 Share #26 Posted August 16, 2010 I'd sell my soul for Guild Wars 2 early access. Which might not cover it; I hear souls aren't worth much these days, but still. Link to comment

Trizzip Posted August 17, 2010 Share #28 Posted August 17, 2010 Yar, I'm a HUGE Fallout fan. I'm looking forward to Fallout Online but I'm worried about the liscence rights battle between Bethesda and Interplay. I'd have to say that I really love what Bethesda is doing with the series and would kind of prefer to see Bethesda run the MMO, but oh well. I'll see what is in store for the future. Link to comment
Dogberry Posted August 17, 2010 Share #29 Posted August 17, 2010 The Warhammer 40K MMO is something I've been looking forward to, but footage I've seen makes it look a little like a WoW clone, which isn't promising. I don't want to do quests, I want to WAAAAAAAAAGH against the 'umies. WFB online had great PVP, but it was sealed off from the rest of the game and you usually had to wait for a match to start. I'd like to be able to spawn on a planet and get involved in a fight. Link to comment
Nikolai Posted August 17, 2010 Share #30 Posted August 17, 2010 I'm surprised no one else has said this yet: If FFXIV doesn't work out for me, I'll likely go back to FFXI, if I go to an MMO at all. I've played it for years, I know it like the back of my hand, and I thoroughly enjoyed it up to the day my RL friends dragged me back to WoW. It sounds as though they're really working hard to breathe new life into it, too, though unfortunately the population can only further dwindle at this point... I wonder if FFXIV will travel down the same path? As enriching as it was to build such strong connections with others in the community, as the servers shrunk, I felt the game experience begin to wither as well. Games based on teamwork don't work so well when you've got no one left to team up with. Link to comment
Shamadconde Posted August 17, 2010 Share #31 Posted August 17, 2010 It's pretty much the same thing for me. If FFXIV fails, back to FFXI for me. I am glad they are setting it up so you need less people to accomplish everything, even if it is busy work. Link to comment
