I have been RPing for about a year now and I have RPed only in one other game (TERA) and I am excited to see how the community is here!

 

Let me just say I have always loved Final Fantasy, though I have never played 11.  I can't wait to start playing and I hope I find a nice group to be apart of!

Welcome! I've never played 11 myself, and though Tera looked really interesting I never did get a chance to try that either, but I hear that 14 is really only like 11 in the basic race department. The Mithra = Miqo'te, thing, and so on.

 

The lore is pretty fun to learn though I, personally, am having some issues remembering all the names. I hope you enjoy yourself and if you ever have some questions that I may... though somehow I doubt I will know as much as so many others here... be able to help you with, feel free to poke me any time.

Welcome to the wonderful community we have here on Final Fantasy XIV,

 

Personally I was never a huge fan of FFXI. Perhaps that was because I only played it on console and its lengthy download+sign up process. There really isn't much not to like about XIV, even the emotes are catered to the RP crowd.

 

We at the Driftwood Coast are a RP company on Gilgamesh (one of two RP servers in XIV) and we certainly would love to have even more quality members within our tight nit group. Let me know if you are interested!
