• Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy):

  I would say I am a medium RPer.  I enjoy all PvE aspects of the game- questing, dungeons, raids.  I tend to semi-OOC while out alone and questing, but am almost always willing to go IC if I met a fellow RPer out in the world.
   
  
• Views on RP combat and injuries:
  
• 
  I am not a fan of PvP duels for resolving conflict.  This might have something to do with the fact I am not a good PvPer and I would lose.  That being said, I don't mind RP fighting that has been discussed before hand that has agreed upon standards- whether text based or roll based.  So long as all parties know the rules and the consequences.  Granted, my own characters tend to not be the violent sort, so this has rarely come up for me personally. 
   
  
• Views on IC romance:

  I will admit I actually love IC romances, but they are not my main focus by any means.  I prefer relationships to develop organically over time. In addition,  I prefer the "fade to black" method of the more "adult" interaction.
   
  
• Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc):
  
• 
  IC friendships are very important.  No character is an island.  As for family ties- I can take them or leave them.  Most of my characters tend to be independent adults, so their family life is more of a background thing. So long as everything has been discussed before hand, family ties can be fun. Just don't drop in claiming to be my long lost litter mate unless you want my character to think yours is insane. 
   
  
• Views on lore:

  I am still learning the complete lore of FFXIV, so I am sure I will make mistakes here and there.  I definitely will always try to stick with the established lore of a world.  I also do not mind people expanding on lore to fill out an area that information is more sparse.  Within reason of course.  
   
  
• Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc):

  /say will almost always be in character for me, unless I am asked a specific question by a player.  Of course, if the answer the player needs requires a long explanation I will take it to a whisper. /ls will follow the rules of the particular group. As will /FC.
