I was RPing a night or two ago, and entire posts were being eaten.

Yes, me too, but… that was a night or two ago! I'm specifically interested in issues occurring after my post.

If anyone knows this issue is not fixed and has an example of a string that doesn't work, please share it!

It isn't a specific string.  It's random posts.

I know you read my bug report because you commented on it, so you should understand what I'm talking about. As the bug report says, certain strings were being rejected with 100% reproducibility. If you have examples of any such strings where this is still a problem, please share them.

I do understand what you're talking about.  What I'm saying is that while your string may have been fixed, there are others that are not.  Because we don't know why these strings are being rejected, it's really hard to link a concrete "these are the only strings being rejected" list.  I don't have the posts that were rejected a few nights back because I never actually saw them.  The other player couldn't even send them in party chat.  I had to get the "gist" of the post and respond to that, because I was never able to see what he was sending regardless of how short the post was, or how he re-arranged it.

That may well be the case. It's not "my string" that I've noticed being fixed though, for what it's worth. Rather, every single string I've known not to work suddenly worked fine. I was hopeful this meant the issue was fixed, but I suppose that's not the case. Something definitely did change though!

Yes, I know, and I never asked for such a list. All I want are examples of ones that don't work so I can occasionally test them to see if the issue may have been resolved.

So far as I can tell, this issue is finally fixed! If anyone is still running into this bug, please post and let me know!

If this is truly the case......

HOORAY!!!  :D:D:D

Here's a string that refused to work tonight:

Liadan Summerfield 's lips twitch for a moment and she shrugs, "I suppose I could be induced to come along.  As it happens, I've been looking for some adventurers to help me with a problem of my own.  Perhaps we can barter, hm?"  She starts for the door, her eyes sliding over Aldo for a moment, and then she chuckles, not unkindly, "Pray you never have your conceptions corrected, child."

I can confirm this is not working. Thank you for sharing!

The problem does seem to be vastly reduced overall though. Hopefully they'll continue to tune things!

I know this sounds weird, but just about EVERY chat I've had deleted had some form of reference to money. I had one that absolutely would not post, no matter how short I trimmed it down to, until I got rid of the word market. I don't know/doubt if it's that way for everyone, but it's a pattern I've noticed with my own dialogues. I can post some really long things with no issue, but I use a word like barter or coin or market and bam, gone. Even though those words can be used individually and even in some sentences without issue.

I think the important lesson here is that one should not love on pumpkins. It's not a gourd idea.

((And yeah, I've been having this issue too...))

You are the WORST kind of person.

But yeah, it is strange. Think they're doing it on purpose, or what? Because I'm tired of my stuff /airquotes not appearing /airquotes

I had a post eaten last night and we managed to narrow it down to three words:

good idea after

If those three appear one after the other in your post, the entire thing gets eaten. The post itself was much larger, but I kept splitting it in two until we finally managed to isolate the pesky problem part.

It doesn't have anything to do with money, so we have no idea why those three words keep getting caught in the filter.

I tried adding a dash to it: "g-ood idea after", no dice.

My LS all tried typing it in various chats and invariably the post got eaten.

(The context was something along the lines of "Biting down into that leather strap was a good idea after all.")
