I feel your pain, but my advice is to just tough it out. Like appearance changes, a name change service will be in eventually, if you don't mind paying for it. 

 

I'm in the same boat, myself. I've had the surname "Anduin" since 1.0, but I've gradually gotten tired of people asking if I was inspired by the Anduin in Warcraft. I wasn't - the name predates Warcraft by quite a bit. So I plan to change its spelling to Andouinne as soon as I can.
