Oh how I LOVE Nobuo Uematsu!! I consider his work on

to be the pinnacle of his career. I'm also digging the direction XIV is taking . The battle music is the best.

Seriously, he's up there, in my opinion, among the top 5 composers of the past 50 years. Admittedly, I don't study, nor have I ever studied music.

 

I love his work so much. Also, he offered the audience a cookie at the last Distant Worlds concert in DC.

Nobuo Uematsu is my favorite composer. I just wish they hadn't disbanded the Black Mages... *sniffles* Still, has anyone heard of his new group, the Earthbound Papas?
