Rhio Posted September 3, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2010 If there's one important element that seems sadly neglected on the maps, it's the location of the many important vendors within the cities. Since there are a lot of materials involved in crafting and every job requires specific tools, I thought it'd be prudent to assemble a listing of where all of the vendors may be found for various discipline tools, materials for crafting, et cetera. Gridania War Lancer: The Centaur's Eye, just southwest of the Lancer's Guild. Archer: The Centaur's Eye, just southwest of the Lancer's Guild Pugilist: Wulfthryth in the Ebony Stalls. Gladiator: Zelia in the Rosewood Stalls. Marauder: Zelia in the Rosewood Stalls. Magic Conjurer: Osgar in the Carpenter's Guild sells a Conjurer staff. Thaumaturge: Wulfthryth in the Ebony Stalls. Hand Alchemist: Mumuko in the Ebony Stalls. Armorer: Matheonien in the Ebony Stalls. Blacksmith: Ahldiryn in the Ebony Stalls. Chef: Stanilde in the Rosewood Stalls. Carpenter: Osgar in the Carpenter's Guild Goldsmith: Gagaulu in the Rosewood Stalls. Leatherworker: Spaerfedar in the Leatherworker's Guild. Weaver: Foinine in the Rosewood Stalls. Land Botanist: Gunzelin in the Botanist's Guild. Fisher: Humphrey in the Rosewood Stalls. Miner: Humphrey in the Rosewood Stalls. Armor Fen-Yll fineries sells a small selection of footwear. Materials Limsa Lominsa War Lancer: Kerrich of Thundersquall Thundersticks. Archer: Kerrich of Thundersquall Thundersticks. Pugilist: Kerrich of Thundersquall Thundersticks. Gladiator: Kerrich of Thundersquall Thundersticks. Marauder: Kerrich of Thundersquall Thundersticks. Magic Conjurer: Lefleda of Thundersquall Thundersticks. Thaumaturge: Lefleda of Thundersquall Thundersticks. Land/Hand Crafting tools may be bought in Hawker's Alley. Ul'dah War Lancer: The Rudius. Archer: The Rudius. Pugilist: The Rudius. Gladiator: The Rudius or the Ruby Road Exchange. Marauder: The Rudius or the Ruby Road Exchange. Magic Conjurer: Romululu's Bric a Brac. Thaumaturge: Romululu's Bric a Brac. Hand Alchemist: No data as yet. Armorer: Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Blacksmith: Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Chef: Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Carpenter: Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Goldsmith: Goldsmith's Guild (presumed). Leatherworker: No data as yet. Weaver: Weaver's Guild (presumed). Land Botanist: Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Fisher: Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Armor - Eshthaime's Aesthetics sells some jewelery. - Both Romululu's Bric a Brac and The Rudius sell shields. - Romululu's Bric a Brac sells clothes. - Various types may be found in the Ruby Road Exchange. Asyria Posted September 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 4, 2010 For Ul'dah Various shops for crafting etc can be found in the Sapphire Avenue Exchange (blacksmith stuff, various food stuff and carpenter stuff on one side, armorer stuff, more food stuff, fishing and harvesting stuff on the other). Eshtaime's Aesthetics sells some jewelry (copper and brass) Romululu's Bric a Brac sells DoM weapons, some clothes, shields and a Helm. The Rudius sells the DoW Weapons and a shield. The Guilds in town are: Gladiator, Pugilist, Thaumaturge, Weaver, Goldsmith, and Miner. Note that prices went WAY up since Closed Beta! Link to comment
Asyria Posted September 5, 2010 Share #3 Posted September 5, 2010 This thread should not be down on the 2nd page. It's helpful and it being back there caused someone to miss it. ^^; Link to comment
Rhio Posted September 5, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted September 5, 2010 I will attempt to be more diligent with bumps! Also, help me, oh RPC! The more information we have here, the happier everyone is. Well, okay, mostly the happier I am so that we all know where to buy our equipment, but still. Link to comment
Asyria Posted September 6, 2010 Share #5 Posted September 6, 2010 Ul'dah Ruby Road Exchange: Even MORE food, but also armors of various sorts, gladius and axe (and food), and leatherworker materials. Link to comment

Rhio Posted September 7, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted September 7, 2010 How do we advance with our equipment and where can we go to get repairs to our equipment? My equipment appears to be damaged. All advanced equipment currently seems to be crafted. Starter armor is available for sale. Repair NPCs are located in each city, usually near the market stalls, and they will give you the option of repairing your own equipment or having them repair your equipment. They can repair it to half durability, whereas your crafting can repair it fully. Be warned that the undergarments you wear require a new undergarment to replace it, as you cannot repair currently-equipped items. Link to comment

Rhio Posted September 9, 2010 Author Share #11 Posted September 9, 2010 Bumping for the latest update, and my thanks to Asyria and Lunaticked for getting us to the point where this post at least contains enough information that people will not wonder "where do I get (Class X) in (City Y)?" I haven't had much time to play myself of late, plus I want to save myself to some extent for release, so even more thanks are due to my fellow roleplayers. Link to comment

Rreeth Posted September 24, 2010 Share #16 Posted September 24, 2010 Ul'dah Conjurer: Romululu's Bric a Brac. This is no longer correct in the retail version. Bric-a-brac only carries Thaumaturge and Lancer items now. The vendor that has the Conjurer item now is in the group of stalls East of the main gate where the botony, lumber, blacksmith, and armorsmith vendors are at. Link to comment
