Hey there!

Malikai

Recommended Posts

Hey there! My name's Malikai, or Kieran, if you prefer using peoples real names. I recently joined Balmung to try out RP on FFXIV, and plan on starting once I find a few nice looking pieces of gear to make an outfit from! My current in game name is "Malikai Denseshield".

MMORPG background

I spent a few years playing World of Warcraft, and a short amount of time playing Guild Wars 2. Other game's I've played include Rift, and SWTOR.

RP experience

Awfully enough, I started out roleplaying on Runescape(all gotta start somewhere, right?) I then moved on to WoW a few months ago, but really couldn't get in to the roleplay there, so I decided I'd try it out on FFXIV!

Character ideas/info

I'm currently considering a Highland Hyur character, who's a mercenary that's struggling to find work, and has a bit of a drinking problem. If there's any guilds/FC's that this sort of character could fit in with, pointing me in their direction would be greatly appreciated.

How did you learn about the coalition?

Google!

What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?

I'd say I'm a medium roleplayer. I'm not the sort of person that's always in-character, but I tend to be up for roleplay if someone asks.

Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)

I'm 18 years old, currently unemployed, and looking for a job! I live in Manchester, England, and tend to be fairly relaxed.

Anyways, that just about sums it up, so yeah..Hi!

Greetings Malikai!

As an EU player i'd recommend checking out

For OOC communication and collaboration.

As far as mercenary, i'm unsure as to which one in particular to recommend, but if you take a look at the linkshell hall linked above (in the bar with the wiki) you might find something that strikes a chord. Never fear! you can ask questions in their comments section if you need a bit of clarification, and some of them even have their own websites.

If you have some free time this afternoon i'd take a look at the calendar and maybe attend one of the ongoing events, meet a few people, flex the jaw, who knows, maybe you'll find an employer! (in game >_>)

aside from that feel free to take your time to get to know the RPC, theres lots out there, the forums full of discussion, the Wiki of information, the Lantern, an IC publication, and so much more.

Feel free to ask any questions you have, here or you can message me in game. Back to Ul'dah for now! :cactuar:
