Hello everyone, new face here and ready for some rp!

 

--MMORPG background:

Been playing mmos or mmo-like games since the first beta testing of planeside in 2003 (they actually sent cds!!!). And ever since, I've been playing mmos, scifi, shooters or fantasy. 

 

--RP experience

I've been a pen and paper roleplayer since 1994 in high school and never stopped. I have 2 regular games every week and I also do larps, usually in the summer. As for my rp in a mmo, i'm still a noob ;0) Been playing ff14 reborn since closed beta and I feel it would be the best game to start rping. I had a maxed lvl whitemage on Ultros but left everything and started a brand new guy on Balmung.

 

--Character ideas/info

Fofumangi Ignamufof is a pretty calm lalafell who left his farm, wife and kids. He loves his family but since the calamity, things have been hard for them. He left the farm in the hopes of finding fortune as an adventurer and hoping to send lots and lots of gils to his family:0) Fofumangi works hard and tries hard. He likes to help in any way he can, except with numbers, his wife is way better with numbers!

 

--How did you learn about the coalition?

I googled "ff14 reborn rp server" and found your site!

 

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?

Since this is my first experience as a rper in a mmo, I'd like to start light to learn the ropes and we'll see later on.

 

--Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)

I'm a 32 years old real estate appraiser, self-employed french canadian (Eh). I work a lot and I spend my gaming horus between BF4 and FF14. I'm a pretty chill guy and I usually get along with everyone.

Pen and paper roleplay, what kinds? I'm doing mostly Pathfinder these days with a smattering of 3.5 & Call of C. Are you fond of premades or mostly doing homebrew? I'll admit I like homebrew a lot but the last JadeReagent I was in was a lot of fun, and we even managed to make the cooking skill check!

 

French-Canadians for the win, although I live out west now the majority of my family still lives in Quebec (A lot of us in Alma, around lake Saint-Jean.)
