Glitches, ahoy! The funny glitch/bug thread.

Given, I'm not sure how fast this thread will move, since for some people glitches are few and far in between, but nevertheless, I figured with enough folks here now in the Open Beta, why not give them an excuse to tell us or show us their stories of when something in the programming goes awry. Whether it's Engrish, or an untranslated bit of Japanese, or your character falling off the world, to the acclaimed "Oh god why can't I attack this thing oh god it's killing me oh god oh god oh god!" debacles with some monsters.

 

Or, you know, this one I got just now. It definitely puts a new spin on "falling on your own sword".

Oh, and here's a nice one. Whilst I was fishing.

 

 

The funny thing is, I actually asked a friend of mine from Japan to translate. She told me it said something about a full inventory.

 

... except the even funnier part was that it wasn't supposed to say that. It should have warned of equipment durability. :? Which makes sense, when one asks themselves why would an inventory warning have a sword and shield icon?

Not so much a bug, but I think this miqo'te has some identity issues to clear up.

My graphics card has some... problems running the game. So I get graphical glitches a whole lot. Best I can figure it, the whole game freezes for around 10 seconds, my graphics card software monitor says "OMG WONKINESS" and clocks itself down to minimum to avoid setting itself on fire, and the results are... strange. Like so:

 

From Beta 2. Dunno why it's only showing letters after T in the alphabet.

 

From Beta 3. ...Yeah. I don't know.

 

Also from Beta 3. A little harder to spot, but all the lights have interesting designs for their lights...

 

From Open Beta. Don't eat those mushrooms in Gridania...

 

...It only gets worse.
