Looking for a new start.

Hello all, 

 I'm a long time XIV player since beta 1.0, And I originally started on Balmung but never got that far.  My main character 50 PLD/WHM on Ragnarok, but after a couple of bad DF parties, Mean players, etc.. I sort of lost the will to tank.  I would like to start over and Hopefully find a nice group of people to level & RP with and hopefully never have to use the Duty finder system ever again,  because getting yelled at for just about everything/including watching cut scenes just isn't fun...

 

 

Currently have 3 characters: Leon Windsong(Ragnarok) A'lsiel Tia(Balmung) and Stray Shot(Maetus but switching him to Balmung) but I am considering starting fresh with a brand new character, I plan to only role play as one these characters except the Ragnarok one.

 

 

--MMORPG background: I did play FFXI for the longest time as an elvaan paladin, played Ps02, SWTOR, and Blade and Soul for a tiny bit.

--RP experience: I do have some rp, just not with FFXIV, I tend to scriptplay rp..but I can do Literate style too,  I don't mind learning new styles and adapting. 

--Character ideas/info: 

 A'lsiel Tia:  (Lvl 24 barely touched the story) My first XIV character, I kind of pegged him as Theif type character from the slums of Ul'dah but dreams of being a shining knight eventually, till then he just spends his time adventuring...and pick pocketing.  He used to have black hair but during the time in the Aether it turned platinum blonde and his eyes turned purplish red.

Age: 15-16 

Clan/race: Sun Seeker Miqote 

 

Stray Shot: (Lvl 16, only at Satasha) This one is more of a wild boy, raised in the wilds of the Black Shroud. He's not used to other people, or city life, but tends to fend for himself well, Despite is wild upbringing he can speak english(eorzean?) perfectly.  He tends to use spears a lot.

Age/Race/clan: 12-13 Sun Seeker miqote.

 

New Character:  This young lad aspires to be a great pirate.  Born in the robust city state of Limsa, he spends most of time working as a black Smith and Armorer, When he isn't pounding steel, He's cutting through monsters or flirting with pretty girls...Aside from his skill with an Axe he's a decent fencer (Ooc: I hope SE adds that as a job sometime) 

Age/Race/Clan: 14-15 Sun seeker Miqote.  

 

 

--How did you learn about the coalition?: Browsing the internet looking for nicer people to play the game with. 

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be?:  Light-ish to Medium, but i can adapt if given the chance.

 

I'd really love to meet nice people for a more enjoyable game experience, and hopefully that I'll never have to use DF again.  I'm a Very nice person to be around and I'm extremely open minded.  I mostly Tank, and am somewhat good at it...I just had a lot of bad parties so it might take me a bit to get back into the swing of things.  If anyone's Interested in getting to know me or wants to Party with PM me here or  send a Message to A'lsiel Tia on Balmung :3

Sorry about leaving you hanging a couple of days. The community is actually quite welcoming, but lots of new people as of late, and its the holidays, so everyone is busy.

Oh that's alright....I thought it might have just been how i wrote my introduction....kinda lengthy.  

 

A little yeah, I tried to keep 2 of them at a realistic adventuring age though. I thought the Wild child idea would be neat.   

 

I'm really not opposed to starting over, I hear Gilgamesh is a pretty nice server also. Granted Brayflox, Titan & Stone Vigil were tanking nightmares for me...at least on Ragnarok.

I ended up making an alt on Ragnarok because my friend started to play and I could convince him to come to Balmung , I ended up getting my paladin to 50, things were going smooth, then I just kept getting a lot of bad Pick ups and just all around rude players D:
