Leencat Posted January 13, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2014 Hello, everyone. I'm just returning to FFXIV after a brief hiatus; I liked the game just fine, but got busy. I hadn't even role-played at all here yet. I was slightly active months ago, but not enough for anyone to likely recognize my name (I'd be surprised, anyway). I'm returning now and totally ready to jump into RP. I'm a night owl, though, since I work late in the evening and get home around midnight (EST). Also, I had been on Balmung previously with my level 15 Conjurer, which I didn't realize, but I am now on Gilgamesh with my character remade as a Thaumaturge (because I aim to become a Black Mage). I formerly thought I might want to attempt a White Mage, but with little experience as a healer, I reconsidered. The following link is my directory profile ; it's presently listed under Balmung so I need to ask to have it moved to Gilgamesh, or I'll just repost it in Gilgamesh a little later: N'arysha Eshir As the name of the character might imply, I play a Miqo'te Seeker of the Sun named Arysha, a traveling mage who has all but left her tribe out of personal distaste for her sire. She actually more favors the Keeper of the Moon mindset of a solitary lifestyle. She's a bit proud and cold in nature, and her pride extends to her race as a whole above other races, mostly because she is still wholly unfamiliar with people other than Miqo'te. Inwardly, she's gentle and driven to preserve the world's well-being, and she struggles to resist helping people in need. She's just slow to warm to friendship. The easiest way to get a chance to get close to her would be to get her involved in discussing the properties of the world and magic; she's deeply fascinated by trying to understand how things work. Despite her somewhat xenophobic nature, characters of all races are welcome to become potential friends with Arysha. I'd love to find a free company down the road, especially one fitting for a magic-focused character, or a free company based around adventuring or studying the world. Thank you for reading my long ramble of an intro and I look forward to seeing you all in-game! Link to comment
