Salutations everybody!

 

My name is Raichu Senpai! (You can tell by the name that I am in love with the Pokemon Raichu).

 

I have been playing for a while FFXIV and I have noticed a lot of RPers. I roleplay with no issues, but it is mostly in sites like Gaia and Soliaonline. 

 

So I have never done any MMO RP. That's why I am here!

I am going to give it a try B]!

 

Anyways, I do hope to make a lot of friends and join FC that do RPing so they can teach me a thing or two. :blush:

 

I will be around reading the posts to  make sure I don't break any rules ;)

Greetings Kouhai Raichu, welcome to the RPC.

 

I hope you've had the chance to meet plenty of interesting people on Gilgamesh already, Thaliak knows theres a lot to see and do out there but hopefully you've been able to lurk around and see a few people if nothing else. Nice to see another Forum roleplayer making the jump into the MMO community, plenty of us used Gaia [including myself] or another forum site at one point or another. Thankfully if you'd like a mixture of in game and out there is some RP that occurs on the forums. [in both long form and short.]

 

Anyways, i've got some links i'd like to share, maybe you'll stumble on something you over looked.

This welcome post provided to all RPC members outlines a few of the key features here. The Wiki where you can make character profile entries to the Lantern an IC publication. If you take a look at the bottom of the post it also lists a few of the community moderators that you can get in touch with.

This RP Handbook provided by Eva is an amazing source of knowledge on a variety of styles and situations. Maybe you'd like to see a different way of approaching a scenario, or maybe you'd like to hear about some Eorzea specific mechanics that you might not be sure how to incorporate into your character, This is a great place to start.

 

If you'd like to know a bit more about the community I highly suggest jumping into the forums like you mentioned, or taking a look at the linkshell hall and messaging a few people to ask them more about ther groups after reading the introduction posts.

 

I do have one suggestion for a linkshell on Gilgamesh, an OOC hub for roleplayers to connect named "Coalition"

Just a good chance to get to hear people and see what the community might be up to. Chat a bit, make a few connections, come along on a lalafell parade.

I used to RP in Gaia's BCs section but I never was too good at it unless I exchanged nice PMs or AIM chats about plots.
