I'm never quite good at these so I'll try to keep it relatively short.

 

Name is Alexander Stormwind from Balmung. Some may have seen my alt Heavy Arms from time to time. I've been playing since launch but figured I would set something up here finally.

 

I'm a former FFXI player from Lakshmi, main character of the same name. I've been roleplaying in MMO's since about 2003, as well as doing tabletop since before then and continue through to today. I'm a very wary individual when it comes to RP, having been burned by RP communities more then once in the past, part of my reluctance for getting involved here. That said, I know there are many good people in the community so I'm optimistic.

 

So that's about it. Hope to see folks around, and looking forward to some great times.

Though I have been burned here, I will say this is hands down the best rp community I've experienced overall.

 

There are bad eggs in every bunch, but a large number of people here seem very genuinely nice and concerned about their fellow rper. Unfortunately, a bit of luck in falling into the right crowd always seems to be a factor, but I wish you success!

I know the feel of having been burned by RP communities before...but I really, truly enjoy this one, and the Balmungian Megaglob has been incredibly welcoming and lovely.

 

I hope you find some place nice to be and some people to interact with.  :3

I do believe that I've seen Heavy Arms in Quicksand before as I just sit by on the rail, swaying and listening to what goes on in it.

 

I hope you find some great people to have fun and interact with! I always feel awkward initiating anything but feel free to /wave or say hello! I may walk by after waving back (but that's because I'm totally awkward and dunno if I'm wanted for something orz)
