Favorite/Hated Story NPCs so far?

Of course since we're all rather wet behind the ears in terms of experience, I'm sure everyone has limited thoughts so far based off interactions during the story missions. Nevertheless, I thought I'd ask what everyone thinks about the NPCs involved in said missions so far. Your favorite? Your least favorite? The one that makes you want to reach through a monitor and punch them in the face?

 

Try and keep answers behind spoilers, however, as not everyone is even up to the second part or further (levels 10 and beyond):

 

As for me, the one(s) I enjoy the most?

 

Everyone hates on them for some reason, but Papalymo and Yda crack me the frell up. And the way they counter one another's personalities is just delightful to watch, including after the opening cinematics.

 

 

On the other hand ...

 

I. Hate. Khrimm. The boy in the Gridania missions who basically spends the entire time screaming, hollering, telling people to piss off, how he hates this, hates the forest, hates guardians, and then at the pique of dick-ness (at least so far from what I have seen), starts chopping up the wood because he wants to make a point. I get he's a kid and all, and how many stories will use children in these sorts of roles, but my god ...

Favorite so far is... um... whatever the name of the Miqo'te chick is in the Limsa Lominsa story. I guess I'm a sucker for an aura of mystery. In white. Well, I also like her spunk. Confident without being dull in the head, like that chick in the Gridania story (I'm bad with names, can you tell?). On the other hand, I enjoyed the interplay between Fl... like hell I'm gonna spell her name, Neil, and the Roegadyn in the Ul'dah story. And the Lalafell brothers are badass. I mean, come on, watching those two little midgets throw out two perfectly grown men with such ease is nothing short of awesome! Also, Thancred. Seducing a Lalafell maiden.

 

Okay, yeah, basically I love the Ul'dah story and all its characters. Except...

 

 

 

The alchemy master. That guy's a total dick. Guy just throws out a poor girl's father as just another corpse without any consideration for her feelings or the fate of his spirit in the afterlife (they do have one in this universe, right?). Also, 1.5m gil for medical services when the guy died? I am simply aghast. Simply aghast.

Favorite:

 

Thancred and Papalymo. I tend to like two kind of character; Sharp witted, charming types (Thancred) and sidekick characters who just act VERY put upon by the other half of their duo (Papalymo) Right now my favorite line in the whole game is, "We almost died THRICE..." his delivery is hilarious.

 

 

Least Favorite:

 

The Mithra Dancer chick in Uldah, the one wearing pink. Such a Mary Sue.
