DAISHI Posted October 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2010 The First Ever Moogling From: Oct 23, 2010 04:00 pm To: Oct 23, 2010 06:00 pm (This are the details in OOC manner. For IC invitation, keep an eye on the Moogling thread in the Baileys) October 23nd, MogHouse and its affiliated members invite every roleplayer and linkshell to join us in front of the east gates of Ul'dah for the first ever Moogling. Or in other words, let's all get together and party! But what will this entail? A.) The Trial of Wits In which you, the contestants, attempt to solve the puzzles that I lay before you! First person to respond correctly to the riddle presented wins points, with the winner of the most points getting a 5k prize! B.) The Trial of Sticks In which you, the contestants, get out there and show us your fishing do goodery! First person to achieve a certain number of fish wins a 5k prize! c.) The Trial of Quicks In which you, the contestants, dash about Ul'dah looking to find strategically placed members of MogHouse! First person to reach said person and initiate a trade of 1 gil wins a 5k prize! There will be a 30 minute period before the start of the games in which to socialize and in which to sell your wares. Put all your stuff on sale! It's not much better than the Market Wards but at least you'll be able to shout what you're selling! Following the end of the games will be a period in which to talk. Linkshell leaders, if you're around, we're hoping to connect freelancers in an IC setting. Form your own discussion parties, talk about your organizations (if you can ICly) and exchange information. This is a network building proposition! Or, we could all just shoot the breeze. Greater details on the judgment and rulings of these games will be posted to the Moogling thread. Invited: Everyone This event is as such, timewise! 4:00 P.M. CST 10:00 P.M. UKT Link to comment
DAISHI Posted October 10, 2010 Author Share #2 Posted October 10, 2010 ***A Mysterious Flyer Can Be Seen About The Streets And Upon The Walls Of The Three Cities*** ATTENTION! The Greater Happiness Association of Eorzea is committed to the joy and cheer of our fellow Eorzeans in these grim times in which the empire looms on the border. In order to foster the happiness of our citizens, we are committed to entertainment and diversions that bring together our people in oneness and unity. Forgetting what divides us, we are united in a love of life and all that entails. So in order to foster that joy and bring our peoples together, the Greater Happiness Association has funded a triathlon of events, in what we call the Joy Games. Please join us for a triathlon of events on the 23nd of this month. The games will begin at 4:30 in the evening and will entail a series of riddles, a competition for best fisherman, and a game of discovery in which you attempt to find our Joy Agent in Ul'dah. Please check in with our hired liaison, Sin Darius, who will be at the east gate of Ul'dah, upon your arrival. This is the first of three Joy Games to be held, the second and third to be in Limsa Lominsa and Gridania should the first Joy Games prove to be a success! Let's hope for a monumental success of joyous victory on this first great occasion of love! Link to comment
Zyanya Posted October 10, 2010 Share #3 Posted October 10, 2010 ((Daishi, can you please clarify what time zone the event will be held? The event in the calendar doesn't elaborate either. Am I being daft? Also you have listed the 22nd and 23rd in the first post, and the calendar says it's the 24th! *brain explosion*)) Link to comment
DAISHI Posted October 10, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted October 10, 2010 Calendar says it's the 23rd, which is correct. I accidentally started using the 22nd halfway into the top post... that's corrected From: Oct 23, 2010 06:00 pm To: Oct 23, 2010 08:00 pm Also, the location is listed: East Gate of Ul'dah. Soooo yay! Zyanya Posted October 10, 2010 Share #5 Posted October 10, 2010 ((OK that is odd because on second glance my calendar says it's on the 24th from Midnight - 2AM! Guess that answers the questions - will have to rule me out then. ) Link to comment
