Delilah Scythewood Posted November 12, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 12, 2014 ADgYKvTWssM ((OOC: A collection of short stories, RPs, drabbles, shorts, and ficlets surrounding the story of two sisters from a nearly extinct clan as they both strive to rebuild what they have lost with the help of the allies and companions they collect along the way. As well as the dangers...)) He stuttered. So people assumed he was broken. The thought made her snarl under her breath. 'If that's all it takes for people to assume one is broken, then my sister and I must be in shambles.' Oh how it bothered her. Her burns and her scowls were enough to have most looking away, unsettled. THAT was a definition of broken. Not shyly flushing and blustering about at the smallest kind word. No. That was just... Being... Dumb. She scoffed. Hands behind her head, she was still laying atop the covers of her bed at the innroom. Xelra hadn't even gotten out of her armor yet, but the weight and confines of plate and leather continued to go unheeded. It was still hard to shake out of her mind. Broken. What did people know about broken? Tatters. Shambles. Shards of a consciousness. Shards of a person. Her eyes closed. She could see the clan's safe house in her mind's eye. The sight of Kiht as she was greeted. Rinh'li in his chair away from people. The topless female breastfeeding a kit. R'shenn standing at her sister's side. The scent of cooked meat. Miah the unknown Matriarch who was no longer around. She'd have to look into that. Broken. Broken. Broken. Stubbornly, she rolled over and gave her pillow a agitated smack. Fucking people. Delilah Scythewood Posted November 15, 2014 Author Share #2 Posted November 15, 2014 "...Idiot." She left him there as she walked along her way. Towards the aetheryte that would lead her back to Gridania and back to the confines of her room, smacking her lips as she moved. She could still taste him, and it irritated her. He got so blushy even after she explained after her lack of scent. Hells, she tasted the air more often then she actually smelled it. But, of course, like most males he took it the wrong way. Idiot. He'd better buck up and spend quality time with his mate and not sit around being sad or she'd just let him sulk. The thoughts turned her in the direction of her sister. Had they patched things up? Were they speaking now? Straightening up, Xelra tapped at her pearl. Murmuring into it. "Flower?" No response. Hn. Idiots. Link to comment
Delilah Scythewood Posted November 23, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted November 23, 2014 Mate. "There's this belief amongst my people that two lovers who bathe in moonlight during consummation makes it eternal in Menphina's light. That in death, when we're raised to the stars, we'll be placed together. Our bond in the heavens continuing for all eternity. That we hold Menphina's true blessing. In that time, couples usually mark themselves to show off the eternal bond." Her eyes closed after leaving the mansion ground, rubbing at the back of her head now that she was alone and there were no more people around. She could barely talk to the Molkot without sounding weird. Jin'sae? Or something? Bah. "Fucking Rinh'li," she muttered under her breath before slowly trudging further along the path. Everything was going to smell like him from his visit earlier. And they hadn't even done anything. She knew it was going to make her toss and turn seeing his sad red eyes in her head and his voice in her memories. If Xelra had been a grumpy cat before, she was a bitchy cat now. Link to comment
Delilah Scythewood Posted December 21, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted December 21, 2014 "Is Room 317 still available?" "Yes ma'am. Would you like to reserve it specifically?" "No, but I was the prior tenant. I left something behind in the room, might I be able to fetch it?" The elezen looked uncertain, peering around the mostly empty tavern as if expecting to find some judgmental stare from someone higher up. "I'm not...sure that's a good idea," she said hesitantly, looking over to the Keeper woman that stood before her. She was rather pretty, she quietly admitted to herself, if only she smiled instead of just stared at her. Ready to fire off some reasoning about procedures and protocols and policies, a little chink sound was heard as a small bag of gil was plopped onto the desk before the receptionist. The Duskwright's eyes widened greedily at the sound of gil rattling around in the pouch. Wetting her lips, she slowly turned her gaze to the Keeper again with a far brighter smile as she reached into a drawer before sliding a key her way. "By all means, take your time," she said in a far more sultry tone then before. Xelra rolled her eyes before snatching the key from the desk and moving down the hall. The Duskwright rolled the coins around in her palm, not one to be above taking a bribe. Especially when all her superiors were out for a late dinner and wouldnt be back to close the main part of the tavern for another hour or so. The sound of heels against the floorboards had the woman's head turning to regard another Duskwright. This one tall even for her race, perfectly styled hair in an immaculate bun with a few tastefully positioned wisps curling down her forehead. "That was quick." "She wasn't expecting me behind the door." Brigit rolled her shoulders with a shrug. "It worked wonderfully, Amarette, thank you." The receptionist merely smiled, "But of course, sister! Are you just going to leave her on the floor or...?" Brigit gave a snort. Another elezen, this one a male, suddenly came from the hallway with a rather large sack hoisted over his shoulders. He regarded the two women impassively before striding out the entrance with Brigit close behind and waving over her shoulder. "Xelra Jinkjahl is going to be my house guest for a few days. See to it that the room is left as a warning, would you darling?" ((OOC Note: Since I'm leaving until the 27th for Christmas, leaving this behind for those involved with Xelra and the Dew Clan storyline! Happy holidays!)) Link to comment
