Whilst I did this before, it's time I made an updated version. I'm looking to make some connections with Gentle Sun outside of the FC he is in. He's currently in touch with one or two people but more wouldn't hurt. As for what I'm looking for? Talking buddies, fighting buddies. Generally neutral or good nature. He's a very happy and bubbly person despite his occupation and fighting style. 

 

Where can you find him? His main location is either in Western Thanalan, Goblet or somewhere in Ul'dah. He does from time to time go to Limsa and can been seen wandering around there or near the Marauder's guild.

Appearance

 

 

His extreme proportions are the most noticeable thing about him. He stands much taller than most Roegadyns and is quite wide due to his sheer muscle mass. His hands as a result of his large size can quite literally act like a chair for the smaller races. Gentle Sun dons short, dark brown hair and a simple beard that is quite neat, allowing full facial recognition. His left eye (right visually) is pure white, a claw mark scratching right down and through the eye itself. His attire tends to be his warrior armour, however in the case where he wishes to relax with other people he tries to either wear minimal clothing or something very light.

 

 

Personality

 

 

Gentle Sun is a literal gentle giant. Polite, well mannered, loyal and curious but also destructive, furious and uncontrollable. He does not like to bring harm to anything, be it another person or the chair he sits on however if he must act like that he does it with no sense of mercy. Quite apologetic, tends to apologise even to inanimate objects for inflicting damage upon them or breaking them (He tends to apologise to door frames when he hits his head while entering a home). Despite his way of speaking (His lack of knowledge on the common tongue tends to have his sentences broken) and the slump dopey posture he has outside of combat, he's quite an intelligent person. His knowledge reaches mostly towards the Way of the Warrior, the Inner Beast as well as knowledge on conjuration. His talent of the Inner Beast has also granted him the talent of using healing magic, however he seems to be only capable of the most minor of spells as he isn't trained in that area at all.

 

 

He seems quite scared of small people despite being curious and rather excited around them, mostly because the treatment he has current had has been quite negative. He isn't very confident in his size, realising as well that he is taller than most of his own race. Lalafells in particular he concerns over the most as his size and strength make it quite easy to hurt one without realising. While he wishes to protect other people, he truly wishes for them to be able to fight for themselves. Anyone who can he considers strong and someone he respects greatly. As a result he tends to look down on nobles who hire guards. He also greatly dislikes organisations that act good, but their purpose is considered bad. The Brass Blades in particular get very negative treatment as a result.

 

 

Likes: Steak (any kind), books, friends, his mother HE LOVE HIS MOMMY

Dislikes: Good deeds with the purpose of bad things, people making fun of his size, crowds, small wooden chairs

 

 

Background

 

 

A child born from a peddler's caravan that ventured to and from the Alabathia's Spine, the caravan was attacked one eve and a small one year old child was one of the only survivors. Taken in by the small clan village, he was brought up by his adoptive mother Searing Star and took on the same traditions as her family did. Through years of training and hardship he became of a fully fledged warrior and took on the many challenges that stood upon the mountains and volcanos of the north. These challenges however proved little and as he grew more curious to find more, Searing Star gave him the chance to venture down and discover the world. Given the name Gentle Sun, he took foot down the mountain with a notebook written of important things and things to say to explore Eorzea and what it had to offer.

I'm at the very top of Scotland myself, but yeah I have a track record of staying up until it's really late (like 6am one time) and then pass out! Especially if I'm motivated to do something, such as level. Funny how screaming about a chocobo can lead to something!
