You're all welcome to spam the shipping thread after reading this. GET READY FOR LOTS OF LINE BREAKS. ---------------------------------------------------------- Another day, another thought. The Halone Celebration went well. I overheard some lalafellin drama, but nothing that should be too concerning. The real concern was me, I guess. I didn't spend too much time performing that day. Mine was about two minutes long, but I guess people liked it. I couldn't bear the social attention after it was done -- I had to bail. The freezing cold was better than that social judgement. I even got hounded by some random guard bitch for being a loner. Supposedly carrying my own weapon was too suspicious, freaking asshole. Though I doubt it was cold because of the temperature. My thoughts were colder than the snow, colder than a storm front. How did Jancis feel about my song...? I saw from the corner of my sight that she was smiling a little too hard. I was worried that she was actually going to freeze in that position. But alas, my future is painted in gray. Happy faces, cheery folks, and a burning fire. I had no place there. I'm sorry. A never ending fantasy... that is what I feel I have reached. Since the day we met, it seems that we've just stuck together like magnets. I find my thoughts clouded every single day by that one name -- a haze uncleared by the time it is to rest. Flowing from the depths of my heart, I can hear you whilist I am deep in this illusion, but your voice is at its farthest... A never ending fantasy -- "what is this state of being?" I asked -- but my words fell into gray. Eternity cut my breath short, but it came to me in gentleness. The savior that conquered my storm called my name. What is that name? Well, I could ask anyone and the answer is the same. Then how come the only hope I have is from my own words that hold no meaning? Laugh a little more while you still can... pray a little, pray while you still can... buried within the canvas of deception is us two within its painting. Burn my body up into black ashes -- end my life and say goodbye. From day one to now we danced and danced, polar opposites pulling at each other. Thaliak knows I've tried, Byregot knows I've built my courage. Unfortunately, it seems that us two were not destined. I'll try to the end, however, I'll try while the fire still burns hot. So all I ask, my Lady -- my Savior. I have one request and one alone. Please, choose me. 2 Link to comment
Jancis Posted January 20, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2015 He was breaking out of the prison. Cracking the walls around his heart. Wasn't he? Jancis kept her gaze northward from a high point in Gridania she had climbed up to, the vantage point giving her enough to see over the treetops and just make out the gray of snowy mountains she had just been at. He had arrived at her door, sharing a side that she had never seen; a beauty that had been restrained. Adorned in a deep blue like a clear night sky, he played a tune that made the body and soul move in time. "And that was my gift. Did you enjoy it?" He had asked... smiling. A smile she had nearly forgotten the sight of. How long had it been since she had seen it? The garish confident happy man who spoke of his family. And he was trapped within a wall of guilt and promises. Love? Revenge? Devotion? "Maybe I do it for a reason? I'll leave it as that, yeah." He spoke those words before vanishing as quickly as he had arrived that day. Though Jancis followed him swiftly, opening the door mere moments after he shut it, only to find him gone. Oscare, there one moment and gone the next. Bringing warmth and smiles, and somehow taking them with him. Turning in a cavern pointing a pilgrim in one direction to have the man vanish once more. She knew he would be there today; he told her he was writing something in-particular. For her. And she soaked up every strum of his guitar, every word. Had it been for Halone? The strength in the darkest storm... the one to count on. and how long had she clapped. Althyk had left her in those moments, caught up in the strength and beauty until she realized that the only one clapping was her as he walked away. How far do you go Oscare? How hard do you fight? Alone on the treetop Jancis sighed to calm her thoughts. "I am gonna be here, right beside you, I'm the one who will never leave you," escaped her lips as the breath left. Regardless of what he decided to choose. 1 Link to comment
Oscare Posted March 25, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted March 25, 2015 Same shit, same day, same hour. Leodaire mentioned something about an 'unhealthy fixation with that outsider'. "You spend too much resources on her," "Why don't you just ask for her hand?" "Your whole being shifts from one extreme to the other," "It's like you have a radar for her in your head," "You're always pushing but never pulling." They all say. "It's not hard, you know." Yes it is. Link to comment
