From time to time, you may have seen them loitering about the airship landing in Ul'dah, a group of adventurers from highbrow to vagabond, from roegadyn to lalafell, the disparities between them set aside to unite for one common purpose: a desire to find missing persons, dead or alive. Be it tracking down the layman's missing son or retrieving the body of an Ishgardian knight from the depths of a perilous crevice, these men and women will go where others dare not tread to see that your loved one returns home, no matter the circumstance.

Homeward is a medium-to-heavy roleplaying company on Balmung. We offer a small, tight-knit group of active roleplayers with grounded characters who engage in frequent, story-driven RP that utilizes various maps and dungeons. We also assist in PvE, crafting, and dabble in PvP; however, our focus remains storytelling above all.
Many of our characters come from backgrounds that make the theme of the FC personal to them, having lost loved ones of their own, often never to be found, but this is by no means a requirement. Characters who are simply looking for work, a place to call their own, or a family of sorts could easily find a place here. Homeward occasionally deals in morally gray undertakings, but ultimately these are people trying to do good work, albeit some for more self-centered reasons than others.
We are always on the lookout for not only members but sister guilds, linkshells, or groups with whom to run crossover plots provided they share a similar outlook and focus for their RP and OOC demeanors. In particular we have our eye out for information brokers, fellow adventuring guilds, and mercenaries who would be willing to assist in the harder jobs for the right price. Our current roster of Sister Groups includes Teatime and The Matron's Reach.
