Although other merchants and artists can be seen as her competitors Madame Pholnaset enjoys conversing with them, especially about their respective crafts. She also greatly enjoys being able to sell something to a salesperson who really should know better, or enchant a fellow artist who intimately understands the weaving of performance art. Unfortunately Madame Pholnaset is also drawn towards those with a penchant for mischief, a characteristic she sometimes attempts to evoke in others.
