As a fledgling student of blue magic under the instruction of The Blue Moon Madame Pholnaset has adopted a less pretentious (though no less ridiculous) garment for the job than what she had before.

In addition to this her penchant for overcompensation and love of theatricality are on full display as she glamours all of her other outfits blue when practicing blue magic.

To the less informed she plays this up as something significant (although it's not) and spins self-invented jargon about how it reflects her blue magic proficiency (although it doesn't).
