Tonight saw fourteen fighters line up for a chance to take home the title of champion. Between Ninja Medic Force lending a hand with healing tonight, and the fighters giving it their all, a single person swept away the competition! Tonight’s Bloodstone Champion is: Hanae Hanekawa Cleaning away the competition with your broom is something few will soon forgot! So congrats once more Hanae! THE NEXT BLOOD STONE WILL TAKE PLACE ON 4/6/2018! As an up-coming announcement: On the fifth Friday this month, at 9pm (Eastern) The Blood Stone and The Aethersands will be hosting a joint combat and magic tournament! The Aethersands will announce the location for this event next week at their event!

Our first night using the Blood Stone name, and 11 people showed up for another round of beatings! While the strangest of them all to line up might have been a maid, they all came with the hopes of becoming champion! As with any night, there can only be one champion. Tonight’s Blood Stone champion is: Cyrus Amestris It’s no easy feat to defeat a pirate, especially on their grounds so well done tonight Cyrus. THE NEXT BLOOD STONE WILL TAKE PLACE ON 3/16/2018! It seems some informant has mentioned something may or may not happen the fifth Friday this month. Possibly something a few people would like to do as well. We’ll see how the wind blows, while you all look forward to it!

Tonight, 19 fighters took to the field of battle at The Blood Stone. From the smallest Banjo wielding Cowboy, to the tallest Elezen Knight they came in hopes of becoming champion. But at the end of the night, only one of them stood above the rest. 17 fighters show up this week to put themselves to the test. Limits were pushed, and breaking points were neared by more then a few of these fighters tonight. But as with any Blood Shore, there can be only one champion! Tonight’s champion is: Eaon Norellia Congrats on your victory over Wyra’to tonight Eaon! Several people sent me tells after the battle were done, thanking me and my staff for running this event. It truly made my night getting thhese messages, and it’s because of people like you that we continue to run this event. So truly, thank you for the support and kind words.

Happy New Year everybody! A new year comes with new things, and this included several new names taking to the field this evening at The Blood Shore! A total of 22 Fighters showed up tonight to start the New Year off right! After a few rounds of fighting, it came down to only two, leaving tonight’s champion as: Emirent Garrick Congrats on your victory tonight once again, Emirent Garrick! The next Blood Shore will take place on Jan. 19th!

As I'm one of the few on Mateus now that posts here on a regular interval, I'll toss some things in. The Calendar really needs a revamp of some kind in order to sort between servers. I admit I haven't tossed my event up there on the RPC Calndar, but the site is still very Balmung. One event would be stared at and cause confusion for people. No joke, I bet somebody ON BALMUNG would show up. I've seen evidence of this sort of complaining on Tumblr. Even when my event listing clearly said "MATEUS SERVER" in the message. STICKING WITH THE CALENDAR: Mateus does have an event calendar and an event listing discord. Here's their Tumblr: and here's a direct link to the calendar: On discord I feel Mateus has TOO MANY Discords some nights. Norm stuff and people wanting to run stuff their way I guess. There's also now an Enjin website for Mateus, which I didn't join because I don't want to keep track of so many websites. But that's just me. RPC TIME! A lot of people seem to be gravitating away from the RPC for one reason or another. Some just heard horror stories, some just don't want to be tied to this site, etc etc. I've heard of even Balmunger's that have stopped using this site as a whole as well. A lot of the RP community, from my perspective, rather use other means then the RPC. (IE: Tumblr, Discord, Just In Game) All I can think of... *faceplants* EDIT: I just wanted to show the evidence of what I've been seeing, and why I'm perceiving things like I am. This is the RPC's event calendar. There are 7 Events this week listed, including the one that does not exist anymore. I'm looking at you Mystic Runestone! Now let's compare it to the Balmung RP Calendar. 37 events listed for this week! It's not just Mateus RP'ers not coming here anymore. I can't pinpoint the why's, but they just aren't.

Champion 12/15/2017 As tonight was our final running until the New Year, we did something in the spirit of Starlight. Instead of our 22 brave participants fighting tonight for the title and a satchel of gil, they fought for who will get the best gift! That’s right, the title and the best gift went to the tonight’s champion, Keaira Farmer What was the gift you ask? That is up to her to say. Our runner up, Tethra Gundyr, also received a gift as well. We hope you enjoy the gifts Keaira and Tethra! We’re still not telling you all what their gifts were, if you wish to know, go attack them you’ll need to ask them. THE NEXT BLOOD SHORE SHALL TAKE PLACE ON 1/5/2018!

19 brave souls stood in line tonight, to see who would become the next champion on our wall of victors. Tonight we had participates of all sorts, and some old faces returned, but at the end of the night only one person can come out on top. Tonight we saw another 21 people line up at The Blood Shore, a Grindstone event, in hopes of taking home the satchel of gil and the title of champion. Tonight saw once again the reinstatement of the way side, hmmm. We really need to work on these names for the brackets. Tonight we had a plantisphere bashing astro, a leg breaker, and a several others out for blood, but at the end of the night, only one can be crowned champion. Tonight’s champion is: Shar Sagahl Congrats on your victory Shar! The Next Blood Shore will be held on: Dec 1st, 9pm Eastern.

As an added oddity from our tenth Blood Shore... A strange visage graced us... It couldn't be, truly... Seems we were correct, a judge imposter graced us this evening. I should say a Judge imitator as their words were as follows: "Could you send screenshots to THE judge and tell him Lyng misses him?" Seems judge has fans even here on Mateus.

Tonight saw 13 adults, and 4 kids, line up for a chance to be crown champion of The Blood Shore! That’s right, it was the return of the juniors tonight, and they provided a showing that could not be believed. Our adults provided an extra special showing tonight as well, coming from all corners of Eorzea. At the end of the night though, there can be, only two champions. Tonight’s Adult champion is: Koh'li Nbolo and repping the Juniors as tonight’s champion was: Zi'batu Buduga CONGRATS YOU TWO ON YOUR WELL EARNED VICTORIES! GO YOURSELVES SOMETHING HEARTY TO EAT! The next Blood Shore will take place on November 17th! (11/17)

Tonight was a crazy one. We had 28 1/2 fighters show up tonight for a chance to earn the title of champion. The largest recorded gathering now! We managed to pull through somehow though with two healers and myself at the start. I really love you two! At the end of the night , there can be, only one champion! Tonight’s champion is: ZAHEER BATTUTA The next Blood Shore will take place on November 3rd! Tonight, something a bit different happened. 12 adults and 4 kids all entered The Blood Shore, a Grindstone event, in hopes of becoming a champion. Now before you think us gruesome for pitting kids against adults, we did no such thing. Tonight was the first night of a Junior Bracket of fighters! Don’t worry, no kids were seriously harmed and they used Practice weapons, provided by the staff. Tonight’s Adult champion harvested her way to the top with her scythe. Nymadawa Saghal and our first ever Junior Champion is: Aegirbataar Dotharl Congrats to the pair of you once again on your victories! THE NEXT BLOOD SHORE SHALL TAKE PLACE ON 10/20!

Tonight was a wild one. We had 23 fighters show up tonight for a chance to earn the title of champion. Our largest crowd yet! Look at all those eager to join in the spirit of fighting. Tonight Seiki also returned and we split the field of fighters in half for the first time. At the end of the night, there can be, only one!... champion.
