Hello to you all,

 

I'm new to Mateus and looking for the best way to locate the rp groups, I use to play on Gilgamesh, but found it's lacking now a days, but it's been a few years since I was there.  Am I best to look for rp in certain spots? Like I know that Ul'dah had certain spots in the housing area, or should I try to find the server linkshell and go from there to find a guild?

Hey there and welcome to the RPC and to the Mateus server! Most of the Mateians (Mateusian? Matus?) for whatever their reasoning, tend to hang in Discord communities. You will find some Linkshells and Free Companies though listed in the tab above.

Most of the people tend to hang in the Quicksands and outside of it as well; Ul'dah is a massive hub for all kinds of rp and social interactions.

Just to add to the above, you can also find roleplayers around Gridiania and Limsa. Maybe not as many as Ul'dah, but that can be a plus if you want to avoid a lot of chat scrolling by.
