If you can hate it, they will hate on it. I'd either suggest partying up and keeping it in a party or ignore them. There will always be someone who hates something, wither big or small. /comfort.

I'm not sure there is a way to be honest. Not unless a model viewerget's made. I would recomend maybe asking frends to trade armor to you to try on. Or find something you like and maybe keep a gear set as roleplay set? That's what I do.

I think it was suggested but a reminder is good. I already use this function on my character.

That is some pretty awesome artowrk. I like the first few where you have the girtty texture or sketches and color. I really love them, stand out really nicely.

I think if you cantact Sqaure-Enix, they should be able to offer advice. Even Game Stop should still have a record of your details. Did you pay for it with a credit or debit card? Do you have a physical receipt for the purchase? I am unsure if the preorder code came with the receipt or seperate. Take the steps mentioned by Asyria. It many not solve you getting into early access as it's a bit late but that pre-order code also came with extra bonus items, right? Items you will now loose as well even though you paid for the entitlement to have them? They might not be able to "print" new codes, but old codes should be on files. You'd think they keep a record of their transactions if they are a sensible company.

That's if maintaince lasts as long as it says. If you played FFXI, you would know that their expectation setting can sometimes be a bit off. Still in game at the moment. Are they really fixing it? I haven't been booted out. Killing Roselings in Western La Nosca. there will be about an hour to hour and thirty minutes left if they come back up on shedualed time.

I will admit it's a bit odd they are doing it right at the end of the test. They told me 10 minutes ago they were starting the maintaince (in game) but I haven't been kicked out yet.

This may have been answered, but I only want to ask, does this mainly happen to PS3 players? I haven't been affected, but two out of three PS3 users I know got the error and the rest bar one are a PC users who didn;t report the issue. I'm just curious. SOrry to hear a lot of you got the issues, and I don;t want to brag when I say I didn't, but as other have rightly said, it was a stress test. Let's now hope they can impliment fixes before launch as theres not enough time to test it again unless they postpone official launch.

Seems that they bare slowly just working out what limits the servers can hold without bcoming overcrowded. At one point even though I already created my character, after getting booted I had to wait for a space. >

I selected Ancanist for my 1.0 character but I'm on my RP character at the moment. Glad I didn;t start trying it out. LOL

Hey Malfice! You hit the nail on the head. I think if you get the basics down of HOW you want to play her, WHO she will be and WHAT she will become will grow as you let her loose in the realm of Eorzea. I myself am still think through my character, trying to build his characteristics and behaviors while trying to stamp him into history somewhere. If you are trying to buid her details up, and try and write nay history for her, why not try and think why she is the way she is. Think about her upbringing, her childhood, her surroundings. Is there a reason for her being louder in groups? I'm sure you'll spend many hours trying to sleep but thinking "what about... what if..." instead. I've had many nights where I feel I want to jumo out of bed and get straight onto the wiki and write something up. :3

I am in full-time work and my shift pattern is Tuesday to Saturday where I do eight ours; Tuesday to Friday 12noon till 8PM and Saturday an 8 hours between 8AM and 6PM. I am in a relationship but my longterm partner still spends half the week living with his parents. Due to my late working hours, I come home and play the game to last and get up the late morning the next day for work. I won't spend every night on it though. Monday's are best for me to get something heavy done as my partner is at work and I can arrange any chores to be done around said day. My advice might be is once settled in the game, maybe make your own timetable; when you will be on and when you won't. And then one for when you are on what you are going to do. I made one on FFXI to utilize my time effectively instead of standing in a city waiting for something to start up. I don't have many responsilbities except for work, homelife (animals, housework etc) and friends so it's easy for me to divert which time I can and cannot do things. Sorry I can't offer anything more.
