Howdy! Decided to hi-jack this post as I'm now going a different direction in regards to my RP character after much deliberation. My Ishgardian Elezen: Louvette Beauxreves Looking for: RP Free Company that also might be willing to help a noob with the game. Adventure! Theme's can range from fun, simple fantasy romp to something more serious. I prefer to keep violence against children/animals as implied and no excessive gore. Friends! Long term traveling buddies to now-and again drinking pals are welcome. Rivals! Could be deadly enemies, or someone who just gets in her way. Romance! A slow-burn with character building and no ERP, I prefer fade to black. Lore Friendly, basically I want to keep within the spirit of lore not against some bending for sake of interesting stories. Hooks: Louvette sells her service as a gunslinger, so any mercenary work would be welcome. If you need help guarding a caravan, a gunner on a airship, or simply someone to watch your back in a ruin. She might be the Elezen your looking for. Trouble with Chocobo, skilled with dealing with the large birds, she can help wrangle wayward Chocobo, maybe you need an expert eye in the purchase and taming a Chocobo she might be able to help. Or perhaps you share a similar love for the birds. Two-Bit Criminal, while she doesn't exactly run with THAT crowd now, she's isn't above a little theft or cons, smuggling as long as it ain't people. From the Brume, maybe you lived on the streets or close enough to it in Ishgard that you've met her among the 'ramble' or shared a drink at the Forgotten Knight. Got ideas? Throw 'em at me. Lets see if they stick. OOC: I'm a late night player, MST (Mountain Standard) sometimes earlier morning. With enough forward planning I can be in the game at other times. I'm 21+ (quite a bit older then that). I'd love to get Louvette involved in long term story and have some game friends that I can do content with. Gosh, thank you both for your welcome! I'm looking forward to getting involved. I've slowly started building my wiki pages hoping to get some rp under my belt to have a better idea about the characters like you said Daefhel need to flesh out the concepts. I'll definitely be putting something up in making connection forum. I'll check out the linkshell and hope you don't mind me dropping you a tell in game about it.

Howdy! I'm pretty new here, and it seems like you and I might have the same kinda hurdle. I'm a late nighter too though I'm MNT. It's always a little bit of a struggle to find consistent people to hang out with, I'd love to find some folks to rp with and to just do general PVE with, whether questing, or fates or dungeons. I think our schedules might mesh really well. I'm on usually around 8:30-9pm PST time until midnight on the weekdays and the weekends I tend to stay up as late as I can. Not sure if your main would be interested in hanging out with one of my two weirdos, I'm slowly working on wiki pages for them. Bibiju Biju; my dunesfolk Lalafall, whose nerdy and dorky, and a bit sheltered arcanist who is looking to put her magical acumen into practical application. Louvette Boisdoux; an archer who couldn't make it in God's Quiver, and she thinks she's charming and a good singer though she's a bit lazy. Anyway if you'd like to meet up sometime, I'd love to bother you in game if you down for it. Wouldn't mind finding an FC also with the folks of similar schedule.

Hihi! I been lurking for a bit around the forums. I guess I'm a returning player, though honestly I never had a chance to really get into the game so it feels very new to me. I did the trial, enjoyed the game and bought it. Did PVE with the hubby but he got burnt out so that left me sort at loose ends and RL got in the way. I recently been yearning to play and mmorpg, so here I am again hoping to get into the RP aspect of things as well as PVE goodness. Took me a while to get settled on a character, I think I've got it. Maybe... Anyways joining a new community is always overwhelming so any advise and suggestions would be great. I managed to transfer a couple of my characters to Balmung before the server lock thing happened. MMORPG background - So I've rped in a few mmorpgs most noteably LOTRO and GW2, I've dabbled a little in ESO. RP experience - Alot of my rp expreince however comes from chat-text rp some time ago and table top rpg. Character ideas/info - I've two character concepts I've been chewing on, Bibiju Biju; a nerdy, somewhat magic obessed Dunesfolk Lalafall who is a bit sheltered and wants to put her arcane skill to some practical use. Louvette Boisdoux; a debonair and charming, Elezan Wildwood, who has more fun playing and singing then anything else having been washed out from the God's Quiver much to the disappointment of her parents. How did you learn about the coalition? Google! I just googled FFXIV roleplayers, and roleplay servers and found this place. What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? I'd say heavy to medium, I enjoy character development but also silliness as well as seriousness. I like being IC and participating in storylines and adventures. I'm not very good at tavern RP, but still fun to watch sometimes. Anything from real life you're comfortable with sharing? Sure, I've a wonderful little boy who keeps me pretty busy along with work also getting ready to move into a new, first time house. Things are pretty exciting in RL so my schedule is a bit erratic now and limited to later evenings but hopefully I can find some folks to rp and pal around with.
