I. Basic Info Characters:Tanyuu Kobaya Primary character:Tanyuu Kobaya Linkshells:Friends of Umbra Primary RP linkshell:None yet II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): All of the above, but no ERP. I love storyline roleplaying, one on one and small groups; however events are fun too (just have to make the chat easier to read!). Views on RP combat and injuries: Not interested in RP combat, unless it's a real duel. But, I love to watch the tournament events! Views on IC romance: Not for a long while, yet. But, that doesn't mean I don't like to be flirted with or the sexual tension that can happen sometimes. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): RP friends and relations are wonderful and, in the past, have actually turned into RL game friendships. My storyline has her searching for a mysterious benefactor, as well, so that may possibly be someone I meet in the future. Who knows? Views on lore: I try to stay within the game lore (the rogues' code is very important), but names and places can escape me; so quoting NPCs, knowing exactly what happened at a certain time...I'll smile and nod. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): My /say is always IC. I try IC in PUG groups, but have no problem dropping it if people seem uncomfortable. I use /em for emotes only. You have to ask me to know what I'm thinking. If I want to whisper to someone, I'll do it in /tell and it's up to them as to how to react (privately or publicly). III. It was fun milling about in the crowds during the tournament on Sunday, so I thought I'd say hello. My late husband and I played FFXIV from the start, but I finally took a long break. Getting back into it now with a brand new character and loving it. Roleplaying has been an important part of gaming in the past, especially in DAOC, EQ2 and LOTRO; and I look forward to visiting more events here.
