I. Basic Info Characters: Mari Maia Primary character: Mari Maia Linkshells: N/A but totally open. Primary RP linkshell: N/A, still open. II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Adaptable! If the situation calls for long paragraphs, then we'll do that. If it's dialogue heavy, short 1-2 sentences is fine. I'm laid back. We'll talk in whispers beforehand. Views on RP combat and injuries: Mai is not a fighter. She'll weasel her way out of a fight in any way she can. She will joke, she will bargain, and if it comes down to it she'll let her summons and spells do the work. I detest RP fighting in general unless it's with another REALLY talented RPer. Views on IC romance: Sure, why not. Mai is a flirt with particular tastes. Manly men, no lalafells ( :love: elezen :love: ), the taller the better. THAT BEING SAID, I'm pretty slow burn, and it can take a long time for Mai to get to that level of trust. Don't expect to get anywhere fast. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I'm open to the idea, but only if we're super cool OOC. Views on lore: I'm playing catch up with everything I haven't seen since I left, but RP should strictly follow the lore. I'm willing to bend the lore a little if we discuss it first, but I'm here because I'm a stickler. I can forget things at times, so just say something OOCly if I do, or call Mai out. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Public channels are IC, except for /sh because that is a zoo. If your linkshell is IC, that's cool. Lemee know. III. Like everyone else here, I'm returning. I fizzled out three years ago without even finishing the MSQ, and now I'm back. Shoot me a whisper or a friend request; everyone I knew died in the Calamity. MMORPG background FFXI for over five years, heavy into the HNM scene there. Then came WoW (heavy into RP there), and a little GW2. RP experience 15+ years. I'm not the best writer ever but that's never stopped me. Character ideas/info Mai is a failed businesswoman turned adventurer. She's up there in years though you'll probably never get her true age out of her. She can be a little surly upfront but it's all in good fun. I'm looking for other players up for longterm RP and adventuring together! How did you learn about the coalition? Someone shouted something about it so I googled it. What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? (e.g. Light, medium, or heavy) A solid medium. I prefer to talk a little OOC before we kick off to see where we're going.
