Synopsis:Act I Scene IV (Season Finale) 8/4/17 - Operation Desert Angel The LNC and their allies met at the Hungry Gypsy for a briefing, pairing off before receiving coordinates to Zatrann "Gold Boots" and his airship. They proceed to mount an attack aboard the Reverie, succeeding in shooting down his airship. While approaching the airship, Gold Boots uses his Tome of Necromancy to reanimate his dead pirate crew into pirate zombies and a great battle ensues. Estelle, under his control, fights against the crew before Gold Boots casts a powerful mind control spell, turning everyone's partners against each other. The spell succeeds on most as the adventurers are pitted against each other. Flora is immune to the attack as her key is revealed when it began to glow in proximity to Estelle's axe (another key) during their duel in the form of rings on her Auri horns. Brawl List Zatrann v. Flora + Maevis + Yayonzo Estelle v. Mia Sogarn v. Lithia Jellal v. Jehxa Ni'lin v. Kor Umbre v. Wulfard In the end, Zatrann shoots the Tome of Necromancy out of rage, releasing Estelle of her bonds as she lunges to sever his head. The others manage to sever his arm instead as Mia tries to channel her aether to stabilize Estelle. Zatrann then shoots Estelle before Mia could finish the spell, Estelle disintegrating into ashes onto her lap as Mia lunges with rage at Zatrann before being stopped by Flora. The adventurers now have Zatrann "Gold Boots" as a prisoner, chained up in the workshop of the Gypsy. [align=center]Here lies Estelle Siserae, beloved sister and friend. The Desert Angel taken from this world too soon, may she rest peacefully in Hydaelyn's eternal embrace. -Epitaph[/align]

Act I Scene IV - Operation Desert Angel Date: 8/4/17 Time: 9:30PM EST Objectives: 1) Mount an offensive and take the fight to Captain Zatrann "Gold Boots" 2) Retrieve the map pieces 3) Save Estelle

Synopsis: Act I Scene III - The Storm Mia meets with Zatrann "Gold Boots" in a remote location outside of Limsa Lominsa as he strikes a deal with her that he will resurrect her sister, Estelle, giving her what she wants the most in exchange for all the known map pieces. Mia agrees as he casts a powerful spell of Necromancy to bring Estelle back from the dead. Something is amiss as she embraces her sister when Estelle's eyes seem empty. Zatrann immediately commands Estelle to restrain Mia as Estelle moves and follows his orders without hesitation. After the resurrection spell, Zatrann is left weak and is forced to retreat to recuperate. Meanwhile back at the Hungry Gypsy, Azuki, under Zatrann's orders escorts Mia and Estelle back to the Gypsy as they raid the place of the known map pieces from Sogarn and Leranin. Mia and Estelle are forced to come back a second time to grab the last piece from Yayonzo, unbeknownst to them that they only grabbed half of his map piece that's in the form of a broken arrow. As Mia and Estelle make their escape, Estelle takes all of the pieces and knocks Mia unconscious, leaving her outside the Gypsy as she says that their debt has been paid. Maevis, Leranin, Yayonzo, and Flora find Mia and chain her up, bringing her to the workshop before interrogating her when they find out that she's been manipulated by Zatrann as he was using Estelle for leverage. Mia tells them that the time to mount an offensive is at hand as Zatrann is weak from casting the resurrection spell. Sogarn meets with Raziel as Raziel shares with him a secret of how he came to be in Eorzea. He tells Sogarn that there was an assassination attempt on his life in order to try and acquire his key to Greybeard's treasure.

Act I Scene III - The Storm Date: 7/28/17 Time: 9:30PM EST Objectives: Find out what has happened to Yayonzo Inquire about the mysterious benefactor, Raziel Find out what happened to Mia

Synopsis - A Business Proposal 7/25/17 Leranin surveys the damage done to the Hungry Gypsy after the massive tavern brawl as Sogarn gets her up to speed with all that happened. Raziel comes in and invites them to his home in the Mists. There, they discovered and discussed the nature of Raziel's glowing brooch once in the proximity of Leranin's glowing necklace. Raziel ultimately parted with an untranslated journal with "Greybeard" written on its spine in obscure, sailor shorthand. In exchange for the future disclosure of any new dangers or discoveries that may be relevant to him, Raziel financed much of the hastened repair of the Hungry Gypsy.

Synopsis Act I Scene 2.5 - A Spontaneous Encounter 7/24/17 Sogarn carefully tries to remind Mia of who and where she is as he unties her feet bindings to show her the Hungry Gypsy in hopes of refreshing her memory. Zatrann is at the tavern ready to strike when other patrons of the Gypsy take up arms as they notice something afoot. He places the barrel of his gun to Mia's head as he uses her for leverage. Yayonzo then offers his arrow - his map piece to Greybeard's treasure in exchange for Mia. Zatrann engages the others in an all-out Tavern brawl as Sogarn, Emma, Flora, Simon, Yayonzo, and Valiastice fight off waves of his summoned demons and Gold Boot's pirates. Zatrann makes off with Mia as he orders his crew and minions to retrieve Yayonzo's arrow. The Gypsy's furniture is in shambles covered in limbs and pieces of their slain demon foes as the adventurers escape through a window to the canal. Zatrann and his crew escape with Mia via sky ship.

[Event Cancelled]Act I Scene III - Yayonzo the Smitten feat. Mamaro Maro Date: 7/25/17 Time: 9:30PM EST Where: TBD Objective: Find Mamaro and ensure her safety

Synopsis: Act I Scene II - Yayonzo the Smitten 7/23/17 At the Hungry Gypsy, a traveling businessman by the name of Raziel Fenring speaks business with Captain Leranin. Amidst their talks, Raziel reveals a brooch that begins to glow in the presence of the other map pieces. The crew's advances and sudden interests on trying to "appraise" the brooch makes him very suspicious and on edge as he takes his leave with promise to discuss business further at another time. Our adventurers decide to go to Yayonzo's and Mamaro's new home to look for Mamaro. Upon arrival, they find out they are being followed when Gold Boots himself attacks from a cliff right above the house. An epic battle ensues as Simon Blacktail, a new blade of the LNC quickly dashes to flank the enemy. Sogarn, Leranin, and Mia cast spells to empower Simon as Yayonzo rapidly fires arrows at their foe. Before Simon is about to strike a final blow, Zatrann "Gold Boots" summons an earthquake as the cliff begins to tumble down on the others. Simon is forced to choose between saving his crewmates or slaying their enemy. Without another moment's hesitation he jumps down and deflects the falling rocks with his DOMAN STEEL and the aid of Sogarn's shield. Although most are safe as the enemy flees, Mia is struck on the side of her head by a rock and goes unconscious. Leranin and Sogarn desperately work to stabilize her as they bring her back to the Gypsy. When they set Mia down on her bed in her private quarters back at the Gypsy, she stirs awake and immediately takes Yayonzo hostage, pointing a dagger threateningly at him as she demands to be set free and asks in confusion who everyone around her is. As she demands to know where her sister is, Captain Leranin zaps her with a lightning spell, tazing her back to unconsciousness.

Synopsis: Cinnamon - Map of the Cordial 7/21/17 Upon getting sworn in to the crew of the Reverie by Captain Leranin, Mia updates Cinnamon and Simon on their mission to find the map pieces and keys to Greybeard's treasure. Cinnamon reveals that she has come across a piece of her own in the form of a red ribbon with silver decals that was obtained from a female companion in her travels at sea. The crew is now one step closer, but Captain Gold Boots and his crew still pose a threat.

Act I Scene I - Yayonzo - Map of the Smitten Date: 7/18/17 Time: 8:30PM Central Where: Tavern in Gridania Premise: Celebrating Yayonzo's and Mamaro's recent engagement Objective: Find out more information and identify Yayonzo's map piece ---------------------------------------------- Synopsis Friends gathered to celebrate the engagement announcement of Yayonzo and Mamaro. Amidst the celebration, an old broken arrow on Yayonzo's shelf begins glowing. The map piece from the LNC pirates start reacting and glowing as well as the LNC crew realizes that Yayonzo holds two map pieces in the form of a broken arrow. The crew tries to "get the broken arrow off of his hands" with no avail as a tall stranger, a male Elezen begins making his own unusual inquiries about the arrow. When Yayonzo refuses to hand over the arrow, the Elezen immediately calls for back up as his heavily armored crewmate bursts down the door. The others quickly draw their weapons as the Elezen identifies himself as the infamous "Gold Boots", Captain of a ruthless band of pirates. Gold Boots and his heavily armored backup make a swift exit as they are out-numbered but threatens that they haven't seen the last of him. The LNC invite Yayonzo to stay at the Hungry Gypsy as he is no longer safe in his own home. As they move him in, Sogarn heavily advises that Yayonzo get a hold of Mamaro to ensure that she is safe.

Upon further examination with Sogarn, they both find an enchanted map segment within the journal pages that reflect Captain Greybeard's First Mate's account of the untimely death of his Captain. The journal details that there was mutiny afoot and in order to reunite his crew after his death, the Captain entrusted his crewmates with map segments and keys that lead to his life's worth of treasure. The map segments and keys glow when brought into close proximity. Lone overhears briefly as Mia tries to hide the nature of their conversation in hopes of not sharing the bounty. Prelude: The Hungry Gypsy 7/12/2017 The LNC opened the doors of the humble tavern, The Hungry Gypsy as adventurers from all over paid her a visit. After several generous donations from all of the adventurers, everyone came together to make her feel more like home. Amidst the renovations, the crew of the Reverie tried to see if any of the travelers had more information about the legend of Greybeard. Hello there! New FFXIV player here but long time RPer. A few of my old guildmates (from WoW) and I started playing very recently and we were unable to get into Balmung so we decided to setup shop in Ultros as some of our friends already have characters there. We have started to lay the foundations for a small close-knit Free Company and our doors are open to people with like-minded interests (We're all fairly well-rounded in RP/PvP/PvE) who seek long term camaraderie.
