I doubt it. It's more likely they are listing it there to entice people into buying the CE. Standard practice for mmos is that all versions of the game come with 30 free days.

I'll be doing the CE. As far as the items go, I consider their bonuses negligable, but asthetics are fun. I want the extra eight days. I also can't imagine that the standard version doesn't come with a month free.

Thaumaturge isn't an issue for me. Limsa Lominsa, however, I have never once gotten correct without checking. And I used to give so much crap to people who claimed to be rouges.

I want to touch on the subforum thing. I don't go to them. I find them annoying and hard to navigate. If something is important enough to have it's own section then give it it's own forum. That is what a subforum is anyway. So it's the same thing, just not nested in another forum, which I, personally, find obnoxious. ((So many commas.))

We do get very little of the actual content in these. I'm taking on faith the fact there there will be lots of story and stuff to do based on FFXI. The stuff they've shown is beautiful, and as a 3D production artist myself I can say that the stuff they are doing is amazing, but it has nothing to do with the gameplay or the content. It can be the prettiest game in the world, but if it isn't fun to play, it's not a good game. That said, I think this will be fun to play. I would like some official ingame videos of story content or something similar.

The attention to detail is just amazing. I recommend anyone interested in 3D modeling take a look.
