I realize this is something of an old thread, but since the Oceania Data Center is, surprise, coming soon(!), I thought I should drop this link here: https://discord.gg/AM76u33kQ2 That is the FFXIC Asia-Pacific Roleplay Discord. It's not Oceania DC-specific, but it does aim to help people moving to Oceania make RP connections. It includes all regions, since we're looking toward the day inter-regional DC travel is possible. Hi folks! I've been playing FFXIV for a bit over a year now, and have been RPing in MMOs and other mediums for around twelve years. At the moment, I spend most of my time helping to grow the RP community over on the Elemental data center, which is where I heard about the coalition in the first place, but I'm looking to find some folks to play with on Crystal as well! Toward that end, on Balmung I have Amasar Iriq. Tales of the adventures to be found in Eorzea, as well as the prowess of its warriors, has spread far and wide. Come from the Azim Steppe is Amasar Iriq, already of 32 summers and yet still without a family of his own and no claims to fame beyond having proven his mettle. Determined as he is to earn a name for himself and learn new techniques to later bring back to his tribe, there seems to be little that sets Amasar apart from other Xaela warriors. But then, Eorzea has a way of changing a person... I'm mostly looking for medium-heavy RP. I hear that there's are some Xaela-themed RP discords/linkshells, and any help getting in touch with them would be appreciated, but at the moment any connections for a new character would be appreciated.
