  1. K'manas story caused a storm of opinions and discussion amongst the gathered. The elders had gotten up to bother gather thoughts and restore a sense of order. They passed looks, signals and expressions hidden in the subtlest of motions. Except for K'jhanhi who was in a heated argument with a nunh. It took quite a while for things to quiet down. As the elders finaly sat back down there was a tense smell in the warm evening wind. they knew that it was their guidance that decides the clans direction. But they where to old to carry the burden of their decision. Their experience gave trust to their children. Yet a mistake would be costly for their families. K'takka spoke first into the expecting eyes: "There have ever been two reasons for the Hipperion Tribe to fight: for food and to protect those of us who are to old or young." K'jhanhi continued: "We are the most dangerous predator in this desert. Because of our cunning, our planning and the pack-work to bring down the bigger, the sharper teethed and the thicker scaled." K'deiki picked up: "Azeyma watch over us all and as she travels across the sky so do we travel to avoid catastrophe. The only value we can not replace is the Miqo'te next to you." She looked to K'atem next to her, who noded and then put her hand on the ground taking a fist full of sand. She raises the open hand to eyehight and spoke: "The Sagolii is vast." She tossed the sand upward where the breeze spread it: "No one will ever find these grains again, yet they will allways be part of the desert, wherever they go. But even the desert ends where the deep ocean fights the land. If the grains fall into the waters they will not make a difference in the fight." Each elder had given a diffrent wisdom on the problem they faced: Survival, their thoughts on fight or flight. The campfire was started as it would surely become a long evening, perhaps even night of preparation and deliberation.
  2. It took what felt like forever, as time has the tendency of standing still while waiting. Finally, with their backs against the center fireplace sitting on small stools, they gathered: K'deiki calm and unmovable, K'jhanhi with his serious expression, K'takka with her white tattoos and K'atem talking away. "Children... children lets gather around, form a healthy tree! Give the new leaf some room and let our newest hunter speak!"
  3. The elderly Miqo'te wipped back and forth in an overpronounced nod. "And she brought a lot with her!" she said in a friendly voice that was corse as the desert sand. "... do an old branch a favor and gather the others. They probably sit in the elder tent and stare at each other." what followed was a raspy laughter and a grin that showed a few remaining teeth. "...Good to have a young one back... yes...yes..." She added as she started to unevenly make step after step towards the center of the encampment.
  4. An unusual sounds of excitement reached her greyfurred ears from over at campside. The dark skinned Miqo'te put her leathery wrinkled hand on her forehead, covering her old and painted face from the sun. Her eyes barely made out someone moving up to her, her nose gave her ensurance: she was needed. Grabbing her gnarly staff she pushed herself onto her feet with a groan, to be up in time that K'nahli reached her.
  5. As the tribe cheers in celebration for K'ailia and inspecting the prey there is just one hunter splitting of. Looking to talk quietly to elder K'deiki. "I observed the battle. Do you think she will we able to use this power? She needs guidance otherwise she will charge far past of what she aims or maybe even do harm." K'gori spoke quietly with concern in her voice.
  6. "Easy there hunter, you wont catch anything if you run out of breath from eagerness." She scratches her hair and shakes her head making sand fly around. "I probably could have given you a name and direction of our pray a long time back but these days?" There is that same concern in her face that the elder hid away so well. "We are out there longer and longer and come back with less. Many grief that there are fewer of us now, but we could not feed everyone." K'gori looks to the horizon then back at the camp. "You should pick up everything that you deem necessary. Plan for days if you think you´re gone hours. We all help of course if you feel like you forgot how food looks befor its cooked" A snarly laughter and the huntress jumps down the rocks in a few bounces, heading of towards the tents.
  7. The huntress brows furrows her brows, a little dissapointed to be noticed. She pulls herself up the last bit, remains of old pain are all over her skin, probably from when the hunt started. "Good you can still recognise a threat. You will need that." She moves next to K'ailia. "It´s K'gori remember? You have been away so many full moons, did you find where Azeyma goes to sleep?" K'gori points at the sun.
  8. The earth could be felt moving close by. Something else was climbing up the rocks slow and quietly. Was it a member of the Tribe? Or had a wild beast picked up her scent? One of the huntresses had approached from behind and against the desert wind. Her sundarkend head peeks into sight no more then nessesary. The dark red hair looks dirty an unkempted. Her eyes as uneven as suspicion and curiousity.
  9. Greetings! I like the Idea of a tribe wandering the desert. With finally being able to creat my character K'atem Magina, an elderly Miqo'te that is writen by her long life in the desert. As she is to old to keep up with a hunting party she tends to the camp, traditions and stories. It would be great to hear from you in the game! K'atem Magina
