So I've been more interested in actually doing more rp, but I kinda feel like I'm overstepping my place here by thinking this, but... I wonder if we could ever get the "merchants" (of wares, information, manpower and their bodyguards of course) together into one room as sort (Edit: I removed association from here because it could give the wrong idea.). Most people play as adventurers and such, so it'd be useful to get all the merchants/brokers together into one room to gain some connections. A meeting or a formal ball perhaps? (Maybe a few people to act as enforcers too, in case someone gains the idea to stab someone in the back...) I don't know, I just wonder if it's possible all of us together to make it more plausible for a "grapevine" to occur.

Normally I'd say I currently dont do commissions, But I have been considering doing a few since my FC is looking for a new house.

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium mostly (though I am very Lore centric), but like everyone, i can go either way. Most of the time, I'm either hiding in a corner, gathering, or occasionally leveling up a class. Granted, it's a challenge to get RP started considering her temperament sometimes... Views on RP combat and injuries: Generally speaking, I don't have a problem with RP fighting in general (though I don't participate in it), but I also believe that in game, healers aren't a cure-all. Serious injuries, in my view anyways, tend to leave lasting scars/wounds, though applying healing magics could help the body recover from it faster then just letting a wound fester. Views on IC romance: If it works out that way, why not? I just don't see it happening overnight really. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): Considering her family is either dead, scattered, or in hiding (as well as completely unaware of her being alive), establishing a family tie would seem unlikely (though I am not against it). However, having close ties with Others is part of what makes a story more interesting to me. Views on lore: Personally, I try to follow it, and tend to understate my character's influence on the world. Yes in the main story senarios, she's a big hero and all, but so is everyone else. The Lore of the world is rich enough as to not have to follow the story the game sets for you in your game progression, so there are times I am a little wary of including things like "i saved the Sultana on the way to blah blah...") Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Unless It's a mistake, Says and /em are usually IC for me (unless it's obvious that the person saying things is not a RPer). When it comes to /tells, my initial reaction is that it's OOC, but I am ok with treating it ICly (I may need warning for that...). Shouts however, I almost always consider to be OOC. III. Apparently, instead of changing with the inclusion of salt, the aforementioned poison turned into a rather.... pungent, corrosive sludge. It wasn't enough to do much more then stain the bowl an unsightly shade of black (and burn a hole through the hem of my glove), but the looks of my fellow alchemists gave me was beyond mortifying. One even had the audacity to ask if I test such things with customer's products! As if I would ever! Standard Procedure is always the best way to ensure the expected quality, and who in their right mind would test unproven products on a person?!?!? Rgggh! If it wasn't such an insult to the elements to randomly pull the stones from under his feet I'd ((lots of crossed out, blotchy spots)). No, no, Rhea, you're better then that... At least this time I didn't cause one of the vials to explode, and it seems that Cya was still able to devour the sludge, once mixed with a bit of earth. How one tiny little Bomb is able to enjoy eating such things without any ill effects is fascinating. One fellow suggested that I try experimenting on the poor thing; While I admit I have mulled upon such an idea, I don't think I'd ever do so. He shows too much of a personality to be 'just' some mindless monster and other then his habit of chewing on my tail, hasn't shown any violent tendencies. Perhaps something in their environment affects wild ones? [align=center][/align] ...I'm not too eager to test that theory any time soon. Maybe it's just the diet of elemency infused objects. Tomorrow, I need to head back to the Great woods in order to continue my Conjouring lessons and look into the rumors I've heard of a crafter's Union of sorts. Perhaps on the way I'll find some more herbs and minerals to use in my experiments? Oh! And more bolts of cloth; I'm running low on patches for my sleeves. ((Sorry, this is pretty rough, and I didnt have much time to do any fancy artwork. Also I couldnt stick this in a journal post, but... this is usually what happens when she goes wild with "experiments". ))

Hello everyones! (and now that the easy part is out of the way, let the awkwardness begin!) I'm a RPer on the Balmung Server (or will be depending on time of reading), who had signed up with a linkshell to RP when 1.0 came out, but they had since disbanded. As such, I will be playing said character a little differently, though I will try and include some of her 1.0 in her story (her name is, uncreative, Rhea Zaheela, but there will be a clique in-game joke to that). I do have a second character, but seeing as I do not have a set game plan for him, I will not introduce him at this time. My history with RPing has been on and off, being a former player of various Mudds since I was 10, and have been playing MMOs longer then I realized. My "official" first was Everquest on the PS2 (a 2 week venture, and after that, I ran as fast as I could out of there), and then I started to play seriously with the release of FFXI, which i played up to completing all of CoP, (I was Zaheela on the Odin server). I currently play a trio of characters on WoW (covering all of the trinity in some way, though my 'main' is a Paladin tank), but have always preferred the worlds of Final Fantasy. Hopefully once i find a guild to join, I can flesh out (and draw) more of my character, but for now, thank you for listening to my rambling, and i hope to see you in-game soon!
