"...follow the ball!" Her normal routine was to fluster. Basic misdirection, get the brain thinking of a response, a witty retort to hers, anything that distracts them from the task at hand. Following the ball. So to see the large redhead focus in on her in what seemed to be a calm fashion was a little unsettling. Still, the greater the challenge the greater the thrill. "Yeah YOU red!" she called pleasently, grinning ear to ear as he pointed to himself. "From the looks of it, you couldn't find find the ball even if they were under all three shells!" To punctuate that she lifted the little red ball so he could see it, and cocked her eyebrow in a manner that mirrored his own but in a teasingly taunting way. And she hoped he didn't notice her nervous, quick swallow.

((Open RP to all!)) The marketplace seemed busier than usual as the small Miqo'te female slipped silently through the crowd. The drone of chatter was punctuated on occasion by merchants trying to draw attention to their wares, and the rich smell of food lay like a blanket over everything. The young girl stopped and smiled a crooked little smile...yes, this was the place. She set a small table up in between two of the quieter stalls, enjoying the coolness of the shade she had found. Upon the table she unpacked three colorfully decorated shells, face down. Cupping one in the palm of her hand she slid it...slowly...across the table's surface. It glid as if on air. Setting them aside she unpacked the rest; a small ball, a basket with a few gil in it, a flask. The latter of these items she sampled deeply before setting it in its place. 'Yes, this will do nicely' she thought, nonchalantly gazing at her oblivious neighbors in turn. Stepping in front of the table, she smiled again. Time to go to work. "You sir! Yes you! Certainly someone as strong as you has the quick eye to match! Find the ball, simple as that, and the purse is yours!" A light breeze played with her loose fitting clothing, rippling her skirt and the scarf she wore tied around her head. "That's ok then, I wouldn't feel right about taking money from your lazy eye!" Her eyes twinkled with excitement, her lips always in a pleasantly teasing grin. "Coin is yours for the taking! You just have to follow the ball!"

RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): I fall between medium and heavy; I love to RP...and by love i mean LOVE...but there are times when I want to grind or just talk about dogs. Views on RP combat and injuries: I don't have strong feelings about it. I like free form non-dice combat to be honest, where the conflict/combat advances a storyline and is agreed upon beforehand. It's hard for me to resolve the game mechanic level vs RP character power; I.E. a level 4 wizard shouldn't be able to put a level 50 bezerker into a coma from a flying kick. But i'm not a stickler, and am pretty easy going as long as everyone leaves smiling. Views on IC romance: Love it. It builds a characters depth and adds dimension. I however do not like heavy ERP, and prefer the 'fade to black' assumption method if to characters are going to 'do it'. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): All for it!!! Views on lore: Lore is both a guideline and a hard rule. Meaning that some lore can bend but within the confines of the superstructure. For example, I assume that drugs would exist in the world, and RP that. But I wouldn't RP that I have a lightsaber and am from Krypton. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I am usually 100% IC in say and yell, OOC in shout, and the rest I adhere to whatever guidelines others have set for the channel. III. [align=center][/align] [align=center]HELLO!!![/align] So where do I start. Ok, well, the above is my character Katanyae Kay'Leesi. She is an aspiring White Mage and admitted craftaholic, and will be on the Balmung server as soon as it will allow me. Currently I'm plodding away on Cactaur with a few friends getting the feel for the game mechanic-wise, 'cause I want to be great at my job. I would say that I am a medium to heavy roleplayer, although I happen to enjoy most of what a game has to offer - PvP, raiding, dungeon crawls, I likes it all. I also don't mind non-rpers, as long as it is a mutual understanding of tolerance. My resume looks a little jumbled, so prepare for incoming acronyms! I've played and RPed in the following, led and co led guilds in a few of them: EQ, DAoC, EQ2, WAR, AION, RIFT, Van, AoC, AO, Horizons...and yes, even a brief unpleasant stint in WoW. In those, I tend to gravitate to bards, healers and stealthy types. About Katanyae IC: She was born on the 32nd Sun of the 6th Umbral Moon, and her patron is Oschon. She's a free spirit, a gypsy, kind of a hippie, loves to sunbathe and drink and...other stuff.... :geek::angel:. A wanderer, lover of cute fuzzies, of rain and storms and laughter. She thinks that maybe moogles and all this crazy stuff that keeps happening to her might be the result of hallucinations. I don't want to really get into her, I'd like to interact and whatnot....which leads me to... Any FCs looking for a crazy healer?
