That's part of why I started the thread. I honestly didn't see how many pearls you handed out ICly. Is okay. Her spirit will protects joo forevah. TT_TT I'm pretty sure he was the only one I didn't invite. Well, besides the elezen, but she was only visiting, I think, and disappeared before the crash.

I probably should've invited Ty to the LS, but I didn't. Does anyone remember his character's full name? It was Tylarc Cae'... something... ;;; Also, if Sio died A'khenna would cry rivers.

I have plenty of time for RP. Right now I only have plans on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday mornings, but none of those are full day things. It might change in the future, but for now my schedule is pretty open. Well, I play gladiator, so she uses a sword and shield, but she'll probably also want to learn unarmed combat in case she's disarmed. I gave you an idea?

It was partially her watching the fights, partially the fact that she listens more than she talks anyway, and partially my nerves. She'll probably get a bit more talkative as I get more comfortable, but she'll most likely never be the center of attention in a group conversation. I was actually thinking that I could learn RP combat while A'khenna learns IC combat, so sparring would definitely be great, but maybe having one person that she sort of learns most things from that would also be okay with helping me learn would be even better. As for the lore, I'll probably ask questions ooc in the linkshell if I'm rping and need the information right then, but otherwise I'm okay with looking it up. Unless I can't find anything, in which case I'll go ahead and ask about that too. c:

Views on RP combat and injuries: RP combat, from what I've seen, seems really cool. I'm curious to see how magic works into it. As for injuries, as long as there are healers, broken bones and other more serious injuries would be okay, I think. I just don't want my character to die or permanently lose a limb. Views on IC romance: First off, I have no intention of doing ERP. It doesn't interest me at all. Romance is okay, though. The only bad thing about romance rp is that a happy couple is somewhat boring to rp and I'd prefer other kinds of drama to the kind of drama found in a relationship. But I'm not adverse to romance if it happens. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I really don't want to RP my character having a child. Long lost siblings is a stretch, but if his parents didn't really die and he just thought they had that could be a possibility if anyone wants that. If anyone wanted to play his Roegadyn fisherman adoptive father, I might be okay with that. Other kinds of relations (allies, enemies, acquaintances, friends) are all welcome. Views on lore: I'm still learning bits of the lore, but I like it a lot so far. If I mess something up lore-wise, please do let me know. I might be temporarily embarrassed, but it will help me in the long run. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I like to roleplay in /say and /em. I'll probably forget to mention some of them, but here goes A'khenna Khai - She doesn't trust anyone who is selfish and she considers a lot of things selfish. Even when she is trying to better herself, it is with her tribe in mind, so she doesn't consider that selfish. But if you are trying to get ahead simply for your own benefit, she'll be wary of you. She can't swim. Living in the desert all of her life, she never needed to, so she never learned. She isn't afraid of water, but if it's deep enough that she can't walk through it she will refuse to go in and find a different way. If it's at or above her waist, but she can still reach the bottom, she'll walk through it but she'll be extremely uncomfortable and probably try to walk faster. She tends to spend her gil somewhat haphazardly. She grew up living off the land, so she isn't used to exchanging coins for food or supplies that she needs. She doesn't know what price things should cost, so she is easy to fool and runs out of gil easily. Because of this, she tends to eat one or two meals a day at most when in the city. She is able to eat much more when out on a leve because she can hunt and gather as much as she needs. Idristan Sorel - He really doesn't like storms. He will refuse to go outside in one and often times needs a drink to calm his nerves while he waits for it to pass. If he is outside when one starts, he starts to feel panicky and has to find shelter. His magic has a habit of misfiring. He has to practice spells quite a bit before he's able to do them without accidentally breaking something. The first time he summoned a carbuncle, it wouldn't listen to him. It ran around his room knocking things over and generally making a mess and then disappeared. He can't cook anything that isn't fish. He grew up mostly eating fish, so he learned to cook it for himself, but if he tries to cook anything else he tends to burn it. They had other kinds of meat for special occasions, but his adoptive father always cooked for those. I'm sure there are a lot more, but I'm having trouble thinking of them right now. Maybe I'll add to this later.

Raised by hyur so does not understand X or Y = singular) Idristan was raised by a Sea Wolf Roegadyn fisherman after his family died in a storm and he was found by said fisherman in the water. I'm guessing that would count as singular. Before that, he lived with his family in a cave in the face of a cliff by the ocean. 3. What are your Rp limits, if any? (Eg: no permadeath, no ERp etc) I really have no interest in ERP at all. I also would prefer my characters not die. I'd also prefer they not lose limbs.. well, it might be okay if there is a really good healer near by. I probably won't be doing family RP, but romance might be a thing that happens. P.S. I might take a little while to actually hop into roleplaying. I think I need more of a feel for my characters first. Figure out their mannerisms, decide if my Elezen is going to talk like the NPC's in Limsa, so on so forth. But if it's ever okay to sort of observe, I would really love to do that. I think it would help me feel more comfortable than just diving in head first.

I have trouble joining into a conversation in real life too, honestly. The only reason I started trying MMO RP in GW2 was because my guild was very welcoming and encouraging about it. I'm kind of new to MMO RP. I only started trying it in GW2 about 6 months ago, I think. Maybe a little longer. I'm completely new to Final Fantasy, however. I watched my brother play a couple of the games growing up and I saw a FF movie once, but that's about it. I've been reading some things about the lore while creating characters, but I feel like I've only really scratched the surface. Mostly, I know the naming conventions and a bit of the community aspects of the races as well as some stuff about the Calamity and the Warriors of Light (the latter coming from simply playing the game). I've made two characters, one on Balmung and one on Gilgamesh, but I'm currently still fleshing them out. On Balmung I have a female Sun Seeker Miqo'te named A'khenna Khai who cares about the well being of her tribe over almost anything else and has traveled to Ul'dah to learn how she can best protect them. On Gilgamesh, a male Duskwhite Elezen named Idristan Sorel who was raised by a Roegadyn fisherman and is decent with magic, but only after causing a few explosions and other such mishaps while learning. So far these two have just been gathering dust, though. I don't really know how to find RP in game, let alone how to get the courage to join in, so I thought coming here might be a good place to start. P.S. Most people call me keti.
