I tried to take this whole RP thing seriously once, it was dull. Then I did it for fun and it was great. Super realistic "you cant do that" stuff can frankly throw itself off a fourty seventh floor balcony for all I care, this isn't an occupation and I'm damn well not going to refuse to have the tiniest bit of fun with whatever I do because omg mah realizm. learn from me, children. i am the patron saint of good times and irresponsible behaviour. In all seriousness, bring on the comic relief and the barrels of laughs. I RP to get away from the fact real life is dull and doesn't allow stupid things like being thrown thirty feet in the air by a very muscular Highlander who is on a mighty quest to earn his passage into the muscle lands and so on. Dunno why most people do the same.

Despises it, and harbours a deep fear for the stuff. That's right, a Lalafell who isn't all "cuddle me or ill explode". They exist.

After two nights worth of interesting RP involving much in the way of research and reading, my dear Lalafell learnt about the wonders of Summoners and his desire to pick up the magicks they used has started to burn very very brightly. Now, I haven't actually done anything about it yet, apart from the odd bit of research when he has the time, as I have absolutely no idea if it'd be acceptable to RP as one. Plus, I've found it difficult as it is to scrape up any lore on the fellows, apart from what's included in the two Summoner quests I've done so far. But even then, in the Austerities of Earth quest, you end up facing off against a rival Summoner who also controls a manifestation of Ifrit, so I'm generally quite confused as to whether the requirement of facing a Primal is actually required or not. And if the follow up quests have more info on this, pardon my lack of knowledge and such. So! I came here and decided to actually make a thread, in the hopes that I may receive some clarification on whether or not it'd be lore friendly to become a Summoner ICly after much in the way of hard work, without having personally battled against Titan, Ifrit or Garuda. Any help would be appreciated. <3

Nananomi Nomi - Dunesfolk Lalafell Even though he'll probably be murdered for wishing to communicate with total strangers, Nananomi would absolutely love partaking in the whole pen pal scheme. He's a tiny Arcanist who seems very intent on researching Summoners and history in general, while doing everything he possibly can to prove he isn't the child his sister perceives him as. Sadly, my subscription has long since ended and I might not return for quite a while.

An absolutely amazing night, from beginning until end! It was hard getting into the general flow of things at first, due to how crowded it was and how little experience I'd had with RP in FF, but after overcoming those small obstacles, Nonomi and I ended up partaking in interaction with just about anyone and everyone. Sadly, poor Nana ended up being signed up for a drinking contest which resulted in him spewing chunks and very nearly breaking his nose thanks to a keg dropping onto it. All in all, I met some amazing people, had a great time and this was possibly the best way to start my RP career on Balmung. <3 Also, I still want that gif of the Nomi head sway. ASAP.
