Tana is just a good nature wandering knight with a past she does not like to share, but currently in story the word is beating her down and she is even feeling darkness seek in her hear, she is becoming more cold and straight forward with her judgments but she still as care and sympathetic for others. To make a person special to others need need your character not to be a white knight wandering the world looking for good or a dark magic caster seeking power! You need depth to your characters emotion, there past and ow they choose to deal with current events, Each person should have the same yet different way of responding to some like. "I know the chips may look down but we must take down the general!" to how you respond to something is what in RPG's makes a party so great you each will have a different way of responding to one thing or another.

I haven't gotten very far in the story line.(been too bust to level past 18 yet) but from what I understand a Echo is a vision of are past in witch we died in the past life from the war not too long ago before and during the moon dropping out of the sky. So in that was aren't we just connecting with are past life after we where reborn.

So I am new to XIV, the Lore and well am general noob to it all but I ave done time in WoW and Rp'd for over a few years and I would like to ask this. My main Tana wishes to be a Dragoon knight one day after seeing one many years ago in her village, so she sets out on a quest to pretty much be rich and famous in her quest and adventure but how should this play out though the game? How should a character handle from being a level 30 Lance to a Level 1 Marauder?

Black mages are never really had bad guys, they just wield a destructive power as appose to White magic where its more of a healing force. One FF I am playing though IV on the DS has them all in a study group. I am not huge on XIV's lore or anything but as I see it, they would just be another school of magic much like in Elder scrolls, yes there are bad magics but we as players can pick if we want to take them or not.
