I basically meant "we" as in those who get into the first round of beta. That includes Legacy players of course, but I'm assuming SE will be sending invites to non-Legacy players too. And of course it'll be NDA, but NDA doesn't stop me from knowing something, just from sharing that I know it.

Very likely they'll have face options for the nose thing much like Lalafell and Miqo'te have options for the darker nose~ WE'LL KNOW IN 10 DAYS!! Though I have to say the first thing I noticed about her is her huge boobs.

Wow. First two questions you post and I'm kinda stumped on them! I'll give it a shot though. I don't believe slavery is addressed in game or would be considered acceptable/normal. Eorzea seems to feel very rustic, but have modern ideals when it comes to some things. I may be wrong though, I just personally don't remember. It's certainly not like in XI where the Galka were basically enslaved by the Humes. Hopefully someone else will chime in on this as well. I do know that gambling takes place in Ul'dah, I think at the Platinum Mirage (Pugilist Guild). I'm not aware of any specifics though.. ..Man I sucked at answering these. -note to self, dun answer when unsure-

I'm pretty behind the times. I don't understand really what tumblr is. To my understanding it's.. a blog. With.. tags. Or something? ANYWAY. I don't have a tumblr, per say, but I have an in-character journal on Wordpress. While I don't know many people who have tumblrs for their characters, I DO know a lot of people around here have IC journals posted in various places. Lodestone, linkshell websites, etc.

The girl had no weapon at all. Her hands hung empty at her sides hidden in her sleeves, and there was nothing strapped to her back or waist. She watched the others anxiously as they spoke amongst themselves, quite sure she would be asked to leave at this point for not coming prepared. Needless to say when Jasper said weapons weren't needed, she was as relieved as the boy who'd broken his lance earlier was at Sio's offer of a blade. She gave said boy a smile that looked somewhat odd, perhaps before hurrying after the one who'd called himself Paradyme as he headed into the building. She flung a hand up to steady her hat as she looked around. She signed herself in, a scribble of a name "Risu" before following Para over to where he chose to sit. He was the first one she'd met, so it was only natural for her to follow him.

While it's a good compilation, found it myself in my hunting awhile back, some of it had me scratching my head. I'll always prefer direct quotes over someone's interpretation of what was there!

The girl whirled around as Jasper came to greet them. With swords mentioned as the first training weapon for the day, she looked to the Highlander again, expecting him to look pleased. "'e already knows swords--" she started, pointing to the Highlander in question. She assumed so, anyway, with how he had spoke earlier.

The girl bristled slightly as the Highlander berated her for her answer. Of course she didn't think of such things. She was obviously too young to have experienced any sort of battle herself. She glared at him, boldly stating the obvious, "Y'ain't very nice." As far as she was concerned, that was that. She didn't want to talk to him anymore. She turned away from him. She was regretting succumbing to curiosity and coming here now, as more joined the group. She looked to the Miqo'te and Hyur as they arrived, arms hanging at her sides again, no longer mimicking the 'mean Highlander's' stance.

She glanced over to the other Hyur as he got up off the ground, light blue gaze flicking to the Miqo'te who had stopped to assist him. She straightened up slightly and looked back to the Highlander. "Sword? Nuh- why do y'say that?"
